ppl chaerin lived in japan and korea only she spent just a few months in paris she didn't live there for a long time and she attended international schools all her life where she learned different languages like eng french japanese etc .she attended those schools because her father is a professor she was 14-15 when she came back to korea that's basically when she started learning korean it's not confirmed she lived in the states but she probably did went there b/c of her father's job sometimes
