i have never been IN love with someone, but i do forever and endearingly love my friend, and we know everything about each other and still we are not bored with one another, we are there for each other through anything and we can never really be torn apart because we will always have memories.

It is not the desire to mate every second minute of the day.It is not lying awake at night imagining that he is kissing every single cranny of your body.That is just being in love, which any fool can do.Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burnt away. And this is both an art and a fortunate accident.Your roots grow towards each other underground,and when all the pretty blossom has fallen from branches, you find that your roots are so entwined that you are one tree and not two.
Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like volcanoes and then subsides.
And when it subsides you have to make a decision.
You have to work out whether your roads have so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you could ever part. Because this is what LOVE is.
