You don't want modern contaminates like fluoride, etc. I'd assume. Plus rainwater is free.

@Keola42 Good question, but I don't think it matters. In the video I use rain in the rain barrel because it's free and we try to conserve water in the desert. However, most of the hides that I've done, I've used water right from the hose.
