east bradenton is where you will find all the rednecks, so if your going to vacation in bradenton dont got there. go to west bradenton, you will find all the snow birds and nice beaches/resteraunts that florida is known for.

Oh I forgot to congradulate the Bradenton residents on reaching a new record on 9/18/09 as reported in the Bradenton Herald....we have a NEW RECORD! 27murders so far this year! woo hoo...welcome to phillie!

I visited there and the riverwalk we stayed at was drug dealer and vagrant city with grafitti all over the walk ways under the bridges. 200 probably illegals lined the whole area fishing. At night you can see the piles of trash they left behind. I read responses like these to decide to vacation here. Wish someone would have told the truth. Cant get over 30 mph on the roads because of all the elderly. One changed lanes right into my rental. Ft Meyers is better.

thankyou for posting this video. I love the whole area and holiday there every year from the UK. We are counting down the days untill we are there next for my husbands 40th. We are the for a month and are going to be lucky enough to celebrate Independance day.

I was born and raised there! Miss it soo! My dad used to pick me my sister and bro up after school everyday and go right to the beach!Saw that sunset a million times I am 33 now and I still remember it like it was yesterday!

Ill be back there one day so my kids can experience it too!

I been around the world and nothing compares!

You better bring a large bag of money with you. Anna Maria Island used to "poor man's paradise" and was just that. Now you have to rich to semi-rich just to stay there. Alot has changed, mostly the cost. Another great spot ruined by the wealthy.
