  • have you guys heared Yma Sumac?

  • HOLY SHIT! >.>

  • To simply compare the awesome Mado Robin with M. Carey it's an insult you know? your pop singer could be awesome for you, but, it's a fact that her nodules just recall how good use of her voice she has.

  • i can sing high.... jus give me a joint :)

  • My monitor just cracked...

  • so... we meat again 240p

  • What is the Aria ?

  • Tbh as a male of 15 im pretty chuffed that i can hit an e flat haha :') ( im a bass so low e flat ) and faith you cannot sing higher then mado robin so shhh ,

  • That last note shocked the crap out of me! Thats amazing! I would love to hear someone sing a note that high and that well in person! :D

  • it sounds like a perfect whistle

  • I have a friend whose a coloratura soprano!! :D she can sing a C8!!! she doesn't seem to have a whistle register... but the voice teachers at our university just love her!! haha and she's only a first semester college student studying voice... she's insane!

  • @AdamsMusic11 Video or it didn't happen.

  • that is not the highest ever, i can sing higher than that!

  • @faith641832 I call bullshit

  • @TabbitMaster im not a liar, high soprano.

  • @faith641832 Video or it didn't happen.

  • @ceemagnaye can't, don't have a video thing. can't borrow one either.

  • GOOSEBUMPS.....Mado was AWESOME

  • HELL YEAH!!! Mado Robin is way too much better than Mariah Carey and all those "singers" that only sriek lol

    Opera wins averywhere

  • Don't forget Minnie Ripperton. Check out her vids on youtube. Old schoolers know who that is; check her out, especially husbands and wives, Everytime he comes around, by Minnie Ripperton. Super sexy.

  • What the fuck? The picture at 1:17. Lmao

  • It's NOT the highest voice ever. Yma Sumac had the highest one.

  • woow thats high!!! I can sing very high on my own but she can sing very very high!!!

  • It's not highest. Here is a young Russian coloratura taking a C8: /watch?v=sPVrQ-wv-h8

  • this just gave me chills. beautiful.

  • ear damaged anyone?

  • i can sing that high so the whole description lies D:

  • i doubt it is a A 7 , because i can hit the note( just hit, i can't sing like that) and i i'm not able to reach the 7th octave.

  • @raul7193 A lot of people can hit that note without being able to sing it, you know.

  • how can it not be a whistle tone?!

  • She definitely belts a A7!!!

  • OMG. That is not whistle! She's using her "mixed" voice.. chest and head. AMAZING.

  • actually I made a mistake, the 3Rd highest note....Mado sang a Bb in 'Carnaval De Venise' (by Benedict)

  • Actually,it is the SECOND highest note.....an A!!!! The highest recorded was a B in Lucia Di Lammermoor( a tone higher)

  • Amazing :}

  • juatin bieber, get back to your own time.

  • how deh bluddeh hell did she manage that?

  • okay I'm a singer, I love opera, but I have noooo idea what the hell whistle register is...

  • @DarkxComexSoon its the highest register of singing the human voice can go into. It's sound can be compared to whistling due to its high pitch. its sound is small yet piercing and requires very little breath support. Its not used very often in any music genre, but it was popularized in pop by Mariah carey. Look up Mariah carey whistle register and youll know what it sounds like.

  • @DarkxComexSoon a whistle register is the highest register of the human voice, lying above the modal register and falsetto register.

  • @DarkxComexSoon It's the highest register the human voice can reach :D You know that thing Mariah Carey does? That's whistling.

  • @DarkxComexSoon Minnie Ripperton gives best example of whistle registrer, she was the best. Literally sounds like whistling but its singing.

  • @JayIsTheRealDeal It's actually just high pitched screaming which has some how been called 'vocal talent' so that Mariah carey can sell albums.

im sure whistle note was some pathetic term wikipedia freaks made up.

i can do whistle notes easily and go on for ages but i would probably be embarassed to go on tv and sing like that.

  • @ForeverComplaining lol :D nah, it really does take talent Mr. troll :P she doesn't sing all her songs in whistle register or even a good majority xD its an auxiliary thing, a real term not made up by Wikipedia.. sigh trolls these days :P seeing is believing xD

  • @ForeverComplaining doubt you can do it, and even if you could, I sure as hell wouldnt buy your album, you must be a dumbass and not know the art of music, it is vocal talent, and also the reason why these people are billionaires and your not. (: see ya on the screeen!

  • @ajdfusdfsdsgugfd honestly, I can. I may continue, hopefully it'll develope into something vocally better - Since you get paid so much money for being able to do so.

And also I'll be compared to my idol Whitney Houston. When I try and Sing IWALY I always end up whistling, without intention.

  • @DarkxComexSoon its when a women is so high in her range it almost sounds like a whistle its on the last 4 or so octaves of th piano i have one Mariah Carrey has the most weel known whistle register look up Mariah Carreys highest notes

  • @DarkxComexSoon booo

  • @DarkxComexSoon You know when you sing and once you get so high you have to switch into your falsetto voice? well the whistle register is the same thing only much higher. some people consider it cheating to reach a really high note in your falsetto voice, the same with the whistle register. It's much harder to reach the high notes without going into your whistle voice.

  • @DarkxComexSoon Mariah Carey sings whistle register

  • God, I wish I could reach these notes.

  • that actually is whistle register..

  • @cynnthemanevolant Nope, she's still singing full voice. Almost impossible to believe, but she is!

  • In my opinion, in the song "Nella Fantasia" Celtic Woman are better IMHO

  • Damn. And I thought I could sing high.

  • That is technically Whistle voice but not as strict and piercing as many of its practitioners seem to make it.

  • @MrFutureseer I'm tired, and my first read of your comment, I got something about it not being as good as your dad getting his tits pierced.

  • @jake23211 LMAO!!! Couldn't stop laughing for three minutes, my 6 m old baby was looking at me like whats up with you crazy woman.

  • G#! damn!!

  • That IS whistle register - its softer and isn't as piercing. Its only a Ab6 not 7. I have a Bass voice type and I can sing along to that in head register.

  • Oh my freakiin' god. Ouch!

  • my ears........TT^TT

  • I'm a big Mado fan, but unfortunately her last note is pretty flat.

  • This is a G#, but there is a very nice Bb from her at the end of this video (better quality sound too): /watch?v=32hdZaQi4-I

  • @oliveranthonyrowland

By the way, the usual top C for a soprano (one of the highest notes usually sung) is a C6 (the note numbers start on the Cs) and the one in this video is G#6, half an octave or so above and the one on my link is B flat, nearly an octave above.

  • at 1:17 thats what happened to my piano when i was playing through the fire and through the flames

  • is this come per me sereno, sovra il sen?

  • it is not whistle register, whistle register is much more softer n the vibrato in whistle register is much more resonance I think

  • What is the title of this song? It's awesome!

  • @clarinhapalha

i am sure this one is come per me sereno... sovra il sen, from la sonnambula

  • @tris648

Thanks for your help,Do you know if I can buy this song on Itunes?

  • OMG, I don't believe it :O

  • @MaybeMe1234 ummm actually yeah. look up the guiness world records for highest note sung

  • arent the high notes up there, the whistle register anyway? she hitting whistle notes.. meaning she has a whistle register........

  • people have gone wayyyy farther than that

  • @charlieslittleflower

That would make you an alto

  • She hit the note but it went a semitone-flat. Still freaking crazy.

  • ...................... :o

  • Ha! Beaten by Justin Bieber!

  • too bad she was flat when she sang it.

  • That last note was a G# =]

  • @zephyr2050: You're absolutely correct, but in key terms, it'd be more correct to say Ab. Still, it's good to see someone can recognize very high notes. Do you have perfect pitch?

  • @SakiAiza Nope, just relative pitch, =]

  • @zephyr2050: Then your hearing's superbly trained. :D

  • Watch: Mariah carey Vs Opera

  • @Ehadurkah Mariah Carey is WHISTLE REGISTER. OPERA ISN'T WHISTLE REGISTER.

  • @DrugsAreBadMkay1211 I know but the thing is it turns out to sounds better... And she reach the notes!!

  • Is that who Justin Bieber has been trying to sound like all along?

  • My cup blew up!

  • OMG!

  • OMG! With vibrato!!! Like very out of this world....! Crazy (in a good way)!!!

  • What was that last note? :O =D!

  • @HomihachiMetal333 It was the third Ab above middle C.

  • i <333 operss! i am in th cunning little vixten at the academy of arts!

  • @charlieslilyflower is that g3 high or low?? im thinking ur a mezzo if ur a girl

  • that is whistle voice actually

  • @ParkHeeCheon seriously!! this vid is so labeld wrong, lmao

  • It's a G#6.

  • omg that is high....great!

  • Than actually I am a dubblebass :D

  • I can sing pretty high, but compared to this girl, I am a baritone!

  • @cottoncammie16 my highest is in the Gs and this woman is useing her whistle register/head voice (i am classicly trained) an dher last note was no higher then a b a. her voice is amazing thou and well trained!! look out for me im a newly signed recording artist and if u go on my page u can her eme hit a C7 but i am going to post me siging a F6

  • oh dear lord i wasnt expecting to be that impressed but that last note was INSANE, how she must have trained her voice for that i have no idea, sounds like the last key on a piano

  • 1:07 omg that cracked me the Hell up.

  • guys what is this song???? thank you very much for the response

  • can smbdy tell me whats the name of this song???plzzz...

  • Relax guys,it's a G6.Her highest note is sposed to be a D7.Beyonce has hit a D7 once-not sang but hit.

  • this sounds like kristin chenoweth?

  • retarded vid. it's only an A6.

  • @moltenplasma Excuse me someone has no experience in music. It is CLEARLY not an A6, females can do that without even entering the falsetto register and staying within their modal registers (full voice). The last two notes, however, were produced using the falsetto register and the last to notes were Eb7 and Ab7 respectively.

  • @Era523 No, you apparently don't know the notation. The highest soprano note in classical literature is a C6, and this is the Ab above that, so it is Ab6.

Want proof? Go to a piano. The first C is C1 (making the bottom note A0). Count up the octaves, and you will find that this is an Ab6.

Now, I will agree that anyone who claims this is "just an Ab6" is either joking or ill informed, as very few women (and pretty much no men) can hit that note without using the whistle register.

  • @trlkly Funny that because I can sing C6 in falsetto and I am male. I am pretty sure that discredits the entirety of what you have said. C4 is middle C and C6 is two octaves above middle C which is not that difficult to reach for anyone.

  • what is the song name is?

  • boo my sis can sing higher

  • 1:22 poor piano :(

  • flat! FLAT!!! My ears!

  • hmmm...working on that note right now. I got to the A sharp above the high c and the one after that today, what would that note be? The A# above the high c, and the next one above that?

  • Comment removed

  • @RolliMyster Are you sure you mean HIGH C, and not middle of the staff C? If so, you are probably in whistle tone if you are reaching it without training.

And the note above A# is, of course, B. Assuming you got the octave right, you sang a A#6 or Bb6, and the next note is B6, which is followed by C7--the top of most portable keyboards (61 keys).

  • @trlkly no. I don't think so. I haven't had any training yet. I don't know if I will, but that will all depend on how is all pans out. I am not sure what the whistle tone means... would you mind explaining to me?

Yeah. That sounds about right. I believe that I did hit the A#6 (of the Bb6) yeah, C7... I don't think I could go there without more training. :P

  • is tht my car alarm? oops, no, the video started without me

  • omfg i can almost do that yay :) but does any1 else agree that whistling shouldnt count! it has no breath support so...

  • okay it's kinda flat. but it's still pretty great.

  • Comment removed

  • i tihnk its a G#7

  • WOW!!! That woman can REALLY sing and that note she hit at the end, OMG!!! That was amazing!!! I wish I could hit that note! I am a soprano but I CANNOT go that high lol! That is awesome!!!

And what is wrong with you tone-deaf morons who think she went "flat?" Okay, I have heard flat before, and that is so not flat! That was awesome! Y'all just don't believe talent exists.

  • @TheSingingSweater It has nothing to do with her talent. Obviously she can hit the note. However, she clearly went flat on the last note and a few others. It happens.

  • i can hit higher

  • The arrow on the piano graph showed her two octaves above high C, but the text said B flat above high C ... ?

  • matt bellamy hit just as good (Muse Singer)

  • Comment removed

  • listen to all you idiots saying the last note was flat....it fluctuated a little up and down but ended right on.....JEALOUS PEOPLE!

  • ok, new found appreciation for opera. WOW!

  • omg what an angel

  • MY question is...WHY? Since her final note was flat, what's the point?

  • @artdanks sounds perfectly in tune to me. and anyway, what the hell - it's FUN!

  • lol @ the pic at 1:14-1:45

    *new desktop background*

    :D

  • wow

  • I can hit C9! I have a video but it's very thin. Is this lady with beautiful voice singing in head or whistle? her voice is still way better than mine.

  • HOLY CRAP THAT END NOTE WAS LIKE.............I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW TO DESCRIBE IT. WHAT IF THERE WAS A SOUND ACTIVATED BOMB SOMEWHERE. I MEAN IT WOULD BE LIKE SING SING SING LALALA....TIK TIK TIK BOOM!!!!!!!!!!! AND WE ALL DIE. ITS JUST NOT NATURAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Cool, if I hit that "which I can" and post it will I become famous? xD

  • there's an Fsharp at the top of the stave. But what about the 1st Fsharp above the stave, are most sopranos able to sing that one?

  • Oooh My thats amazingly cool

  • holy #$^&

  • Ho-- holy fu--- what the hell just happened?

  • She broke my window! God... That was so high that I almost had a stroke! The dogs are barking outside my house! Shit ... How someone can sing so fucking high?

  • It sounds like whistle register. What's the difference? Still amazing though.

  • @MCLambDahling3000 thickness. whistles are thinner. head voice is much thicker.

  • omg you should of seen my face at 2:30... complete shock

  • @ikate2 Hahahaha yeaaah! xD Wtf! xD

  • wow

  • i wish i were capable of doing that...

  • I can actualy sing that high, but i am not good when it comes to making it sound clear, and i can only hold it for 20 secounds before my voice cracks. I am also an operah singer, which is why i have sung this in my class before.

  • wt note dd she hit ?

  • Wow. I was thinking "pfft, I can sing these notes, just without her level of control" until 2:30. That just blew my mind.

  • She doesn't need a whistle register because of her extreme practice and developing of the high register, trying to reach notes she can't, it soon ables her to reach the note. That's her training and that's why she doesn't need a whistle register.

  • shes using a whistle register, she better use her chest voice, then i will be impress

  • 2:30 O_O

  • she was also the pne whp inspired mariah with whistling right?

  • @fhiNkme No. Mariah's mother is an Opera singer and realized that Mariah had that gift. However, it was Minnie Riperton that had the most influence on Mariah's technique. Mariah has never in her life mentioned this woman.

  • hahahahaha shaking voice

  • her voice like a ghost~~

  • Damn. It. And I thought I could sing high :D

I can sing a C#7, but that's it... This lady is my new idol, haha

and now I have a new singing goal. Awesome vid ^.^

  • with all due respect...that last note is sung in whistle register. It has the specific tone quality of a whitsle tone. I am not putting down her range in the least. It is very hard to even develope a whistle register at all. In fact, not many sopranos do. I wouldn't trust wikipedia with that information. I suggest you find a better source.

  • Amazing lady.

  • Is sounds like the female version of Tiny Tim

  • The crazy part is, this isn't even her highest note.

  • @bobbymcferrinyoyo Ok, yeah. You're fucking stupid. The note is consistent throughout the whole time she holds it.
