I would have to say this is an awesome video. Gracie bullyproof is designed to teach kids to defend themselves KIDS their age or a little older not about rape. If you are worried about that kind of problem then enroll your child in Krav Maga. But krav maga would not be used against a bully unless a child really thought that their life was in danger. If you mixed both together, then at least you would know your kid could somewhat defend themselves if needed. But good job to the girl. Keep it up!

No, one good elbow MIGHT knock you the fuck out. Most of the time it will just cut you up ( hence the TKO, fight by cut ref stoppage). Yes their friend of theirs can come and kick you in the head, thats why you dismount the armbar and move away. But if he puts you in a bad position where you can't escape you better wish you knew that ARMBAR so you could get to that escape.

Don't most self defense courses for women highlight an initial aggressive set of striking and screaming "NO!" followed by running away? Encouraging a girl to fall into a male attacker's guard seems a little reckless, the strength difference is too much to overcome with technique.

@Prytonis no offence but i believe that this is an even better technique for this girl because simply striking him would as you say, have not that much affect on him, but taking him to the ground (which is where most of these situations end) is where she can do these defense moves on him, yes he is stronger than her, but when he walks away (or runs) from falling on the ground and who knows what else she would have done to him, he alteast would leave a trail of blood for the police to follow

Closing the distance is the worst possible option. The woman has no idea whether the attacker is trained, and strength can make up for almost any technique difference. Once the fight's on the ground the woman needs to be very lucky to win. And she can't run. She should avoid it at all costs.
