2 things you guys should know; Michael Phelps signature stroke is butterfly followed by freestyle and this is a 100 he only does 100 butterflys and freestyles so its not his distance or stroke yet he still was .05 away from the fastest backstroker in the world plus they both swim for team usa together

well we're actually watching that Phelps lost in races he was not specialised in, 100 m was won in olympics by Alain Bernard and this 100 m backstroke I don't now who won it, but in the other races he did as expected, he obviously needs to improve the strokes and that's it, does anybody knows where can I find a video of the new phelp's freestyle technique? he was said to use it in charlotte but I cannot find it.

Piersol won gold at the olympics in the 100 back. So he is the best 100 backstroker in the world. Phelps did good, its just not his best event.

your completely right obviously michael phelps isn't a backstroker this is one of his weaker events. this is aaron piersol's best event, obviously not taking anything away from piersol because piersol is the best backstroker in history.
