affion crocket kills this, just saw an advertisement for his new show. Never even heard of this guy until I heard him flow over this Dilla beat. "Baby your first mistake was looking me back with your eye lashes, you was in a dance with a dude and i crashed it"... my eyes are pierce brosnan, starin deep in your soul my james bond pimp demeanor is cold whoa
J. Dilla was the first one to create this beat, J. Dilla was an influence to Dela, get y'all facts right. R.I.P. to J. Dilla A.K.A. James Dewitt Yancey and Nujabes A.K.A. 瀬葉淳, Jun Seba, they were born on the same day, month, and year, this is one of the good examples to show people that don't believe in God and both those producers were legendary, God made two special people on the same day that made amazing music to help turn people in the world into better human beings and he succeeded...
@cradleofjohannes Dela simply sampled. Both versions sound fucking amazing, so what's the problem? It's better than listening to the fake ass mainstream fucks who regurgitate the same lines over each track. I don't even use radio anymore because music like this exists. We need this shit to become mainstream. I hope for more.
@cradleofjohannes Of course. I said that as well. Dela sampled this track after Dilla did. Very nice track all in all. Best album I ever got is this one.
@thegroove2000 if thats the case, how is it different from any form of music you've heard outside of turntablism or experimental? You have to think harder before speaking. Or your clearly not a follower or fan of Dilla's career because your comment is as ridiculously INACCURATE as any I've heard.
Same old same old...same beat pattern,,, the kick and the snare. Typical copy cat beats. Like a lot of the hip hop around today. INNOVATE ..too many sheep and not enough wolves.
@thegroove2000 Excuse My Language But Who The Fuck Are You To Talkin About Innovation?
Where Are Your Beats At? lol Looks Like You Put Yourself In The Sheep Category. If This Is A Typical Copy Cat Type Beat lol Then Why Is It Banging In My Sub So Hard? GTFO Here, Your Innovation Prolly Has To Do With Wack MCs And Synthesized Beats.
@Qu35ti0n Bloody hell...its called a OPINION FOOL... im 39 and ive forgot more beats than you ever heard.

@stealth313 Thanks for that! I will continue to voice how I feel whether you like it or not. RIP JAYDEE!!! His BEST production to date was on Pharcyde's Labcabincalifornia! You have every right to like as you please! But JAYDEE will live on forever!!!
@Spillberg THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! I agree, with the difference in production sounds, there are some early traces of Dilla sounds in Busta Rhymes songs in particular, I'd count 'Genesis' as a transitional beat for Jay Dee, 'Live it up' and 'Still Shining' (Believe it or not), also on 'Go Ladies'. I'm a bigger fan of Jay Dee than Dilla but I can't knock his latter music at all.
