I know this person responded a year ago, but I find it funny, since I was part of the original group that opened these squats. In fact me and another woman started the women only squat, and I am American. hmmm. I watch these videos and I'm sad. I agree with what Caroline (red haired woman in video 2) and the angry artist in video 3 said. Although we were a community, community decisions started to fail on the concensus level and many of us were forced out of the homes we occupied over a year
I was a part of this protest way back when. I was the only American wrapped up in this. It was a great group of folks and a great cause. I miss Woodstock and Squeege and Kim and Ken and all you guys. Plus, now I am marrying a Canadian and living in Vancouver. How the World turns.
