this is based on truth. there is a place at the antarctic pole that has no ice, fresh water unfrozen lakes, and green life. and possibly an opening to an inner hollow earth with an inner sun. the aurora borealis lights could be light shining up through the opening, from the inner sun. or aurora borealis could just be earths natural magnetic field making shimmering lightwaves. don't know, i haven't been there.

Great to see this again. Saw it when I was 5 or 6 at the theater. All I could remember of it clearly was the "chasing rainbows" line. Thanks for posting.
