you should have a look at what your constitution allows, Ron Paul votes according to what it expressly allows on a federal level. State law should deal with gay marriage, cannabis laws, abortion laws etc. If a state wants to not fund abortion then live in another state, the free market will sort that out, the point is the constitution allows for everyone to have a choice in almost every circumstance, men fought and died for everyone's right to be wrong as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else.

Ron Paul votes based on his personal beliefs but what you should know is that Ron Paul believes that decisions regarding laws should be state by state. This includes the legalization of drugs, abortion, gay rights, etc. Regarding the Amber Alert bill: Joseph Liden sneakily snuck the Rave Act into a child abduction bill called the Amber Alert. This basically made the Rave bill easy to pass because anyone against it was going against child kidnappings. Ron Paul has the only solid voting record.

I think the reason he's voted "no" on a lot of these measures you mentioned is that they aren't necessary. He's said numerous times that he doesn't support things that aren't mentioned in the Constitution. It doesn't mean that he is opposed to Mother Theresa getting the Gold Medal. you should have a look at what your constitution allows, Ron Paul votes according to what it expressly allows on a federal level. State law should deal with gay marriage, cannabis laws, abortion laws etc. If a state wants to not fund abortion then live in another state, the free market will sort that out, the point is the constitution allows for everyone to have a choice in almost every circumstance, men fought and died for everyone's right to be wrong as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else.

Ron Paul votes based on his personal beliefs but what you should know is that Ron Paul believes that decisions regarding laws should be state by state. This includes the legalization of drugs, abortion, gay rights, etc. Regarding the Amber Alert bill: Joseph Liden sneakily snuck the Rave Act into a child abduction bill called the Amber Alert. This basically made the Rave bill easy to pass because anyone against it was going against child kidnappings. Ron Paul has the only solid voting record.

What I have a hard time understanding about gay liberals is that most are anti Libertarian. Yet the Libertarian party has had the longest and most consistent record on individual rights especially free gay association. The DNC has no consistency in the area of gay rights. If someone had a so called alternative lifestyle and they where liberal doesn't it seem odd that they wouldn't be Green or Socialist. I guess I am tired of anti Libertarians that are DNC operatives. DNC is not Liberal.

Everything you just bitched about Ron voting for or against is perfectly in line with the Constitution. You only look at the surface issues, without bothering to think about the underlying questions of Constitutionality. Besides he is principled, he votes against spending..always, regardless of how great it may seem. I commend Ron for it. No other politician can make those claims of strict principled integrity.
