  • that was carls falt there !! I dont know why he was so mad at Brad!! and wrecked him after several times!! brad fakes high then shoots low and has a bumper on him and carl goes down to block and turns himself on Brads nose!!! Man Carls a big baby

  • he shouldve full on sprinted it and dived for the finish line.

  • RICKY BOBBY!!!!!!

  • it took them 1 minute to realize who won the race

  • I love how Carl Edwards is flipping through the air and flying into the catch fence and the first thing Mike Joy remarks about is how the front of Ryan Newman's car got destroyed, lol.

  • the description is wrong, it was on the FRONTstretch

  • carl should've done a backflip

  • Darrel Waltrip SUCKS at announcing whenever there's even minor wrecks. He gets way too appalled to announce. I mean yeah wrecks are bad and this was surely a bad one but COME ON MAN why does DW always sound like he just saw somebody die every wreck?

  • @erasetoimprove

I agree with you, DW just made it sound so sour..... this was one of the bad wrecks in NASCAR. DW just killed it by saying "No, No, No!"......over his announcing team

  • @jrjrjr112 Really the whole fox crew irritates me. Yeah it's the best announcing crew in NASCAR right now but that's not saying anything when they still totally suck. I actually like Dale Jarrett in the booth more than any other personality. At least he has hints of his dad Ned when he speaks.

  • @erasetoimprove that's true, I think they tried to do one up on one another every week. The one guy that irritates me the most is Kyle Petty on TNT. He can not shut up for one second, he talks too much during the race.

  • for these asshole announcers to invoke "shades of ricky bobby" for this moment, i was dumbfounded. why would you compare one of the most dramatic finishes in history to a cornball slap in the mouth piece of shit like talladega nights?

  • @penske13 Obviously you've never seen Talladega Nights otherwise you would know what scene from the movie they where refering to dickhead.

  • @Nascarking24 yea....against all odds i made it thru that peice of shit movie. i know what they were referencing and it shouldn't be a compliment. i didn't say what i said as a compliment...dickhead.

  • How da fuck did brad get spun after the race? lol

  • um that wasnt on the backstretch. it was in the trioval

  • Talladega Racing in 2009: 3 flips

Talladega Racing in 2010: 1 flip

  • Totally not Brad's fault. Yellow line rule was to blame for this.

  • I was right by this when it happened! Maybe 2 rows over..Amazing! 5*

  • what means oh no no no you hard fucker

  • he opend the gap. 66 car then you got to hold your line

  • I still think this is the really an awesome moment in 2009. Last lap, edwards crashes out of the lead, FLIPS, and gets out to RUN across the finish line!? Amazing, thtas dedication right there..

  • i found it funny when the wreck happened they instantly felt bad for ryan newman wtf i didnt see his car flying throught the air

  • shame all the cars are the same i meant lol *

  • I dont know why people hate on NASCAR. I like pretty much all motorsport, and NASCAR is at least as exiting as any other track racing.

Its a shame all the same though, I think NASCAR could get very interesting if they put the STOCK back into the stock car racing.

Anyway, hope I can make it to talladega one day, all the way from the UK!

  • Great finish, nasty wreck

  • let's see how u like when u get a brocken jaw and all you teeth smashed in. You should get that just for making that comment.

  • Well on the back of the ticket to any event at my local track here in the UK it says "you are here at your own risk" so unless the guy sued I wouldn't see why NASCAR changed the rules.

  • Lets do it again ;)

  • if Edwards' car was just a little higher when he hit Newman, he would have killed him most likely, so that was a huge relief.

  • i agree with regismo that was the best race of the season yet

  • ye that was lot of fan

  • Best race of the season, I was crazy after this lol.

In more, In France, we had ZERO commercial during all the race and we could see all.

  • haha u know whats better then no commercials? i was there haha, i was 40ft from the crash haha

  • same here tommy6six lol

  • @Tommy6six soooo....were you one of the lucky folks that were showered with debris or one of the bottle throwers?

  • @Tommy6six I was fucking ABOVE a bottle thrower.

  • You're not on fire, Carl Edwards!

  • THANK YOU GOD!!!

  • If I remember right, James Finch was already gone when Brad won and had to go back.

  • Rofl, sad they even mentioned him running to the line, you have to bring your car across the line genius, awesome crash though, arrogance is a 2 edged sword and he got cut down this round

  • brad didnt do anything. he was simply trying to finish. you cant go below the yellow line

  • Man, bad wreck...lol at the part when carl ran across the start/finish line...and brad keselowski was kinda clumsy at the part when he turned to do burnouts but ran into kyle busch.

  • whoa nascar IS NOT gay, you are gay mind your own bussiness dumb ass

  • sithlord...u r a gay faggot you wish you could be in nascar but u suck!! and if nascar is gay...then y r u watchin the video? nascar rocks!!!! and im not a redneck im 100% eastside!!!!!/puerto rican!!!!!

  • that would SUCK! 50 yards from the finish, that would be very heartbreaking....

  • i got a lug nut from keselowskis car at this race

  • Seems it is carl edwards fault...he went down to other cras nose as he tried to block

  • its nobodys fault listen to the interviews and commentators

  • INCORRECT there are two Watkins glen AND Infeion

  • you wish I lost whore. It didnt make sense because you are the biggest fucking dumd shit the world has ever been disgraced to know. If you cant stop licking your moms pussy long enough to get a clue what really help me nobody can help you but yourself. Get a life you piece of fucking horse sperm shit ass you can go to hell and rot away like you were always meant too. Shit hole you make me sick, bitch. What now jorDORK???

    You are the best tenyrsafter

  • Nascar doesn't need new rules, they just need better drivers. What this idiot did is unbeleivable. He jeopardized other racers, and the fans. Hitting Carls car the way he did in order to win was a chicken-shit move. Then when he went to the Winners Circle to accept his crowning glory was unbelievable. I'd like to spit on him! Racing is a sport that takes stratigic planning, smashing into a car, causing a horrific accident in order to win is not the way to play the game! Thank God no one died.

  • Hahaha I know right? They say that NASCAR drivers are "the best in the world" yet somehow they always have a crash!!

  • fuck you? what did brad do wrong?

  • I just received an email from you, what the heck are you barking about?

"fuck you?" "what did brad do wrong?"

Please just leave it alone, my comment was how I felt and I live in Amercia and if people can't comment here without using foul language, then shame on your mama for not raising you right.

    btw, I'm a dudette, not a dude!

  • Carl Edwards was one of the first to say Brad did nothing wrong, Brad went high and Edwards followed him that allowed Brad to have a clear shot at the low line. He was beside Edwards before the two cars made contact and because of the rule about the yellow line Brad had nowhere to go when Edwards moved down the track to get the low line. This was neither of their faults just a product of racing.

  • dude, it wasnt his fault. he couldnt go below the yelow line, and edwards plain just didnt have the room he thought he did when he went to block down low. keselowski did nothing wrong, he just played by the rules.

  • Of Tony has something wrong with his car at 0:30!! Come on Tony.. the gas is on the right side, Brake is on the left.. WTF!!!!

  • awesome

  • awesome how he still finished the race :)

  • Just like Ricky Bobby, I so wanted to break out in "We Belong" when Edwards started running.

  • Lol fail :D

  • didn't carl edwards die years ago?

  • NO he's still alive and kicking

  • if you make me a pentagram star with a circle or just a star ill sub you

  • Screw Ricky Bobby

  • ur an idiot..

  • great finish to a good race...

  • I don't think this was the kind of flip edwards wanted to do that day

  • haha yeah. when he said that was the first time he'd ever flipped a race car i was like, yeah, he's more used to flipping OUTSIDE the racecar..haha.

  • yea me and my dad were asking the tv asking if carl was ok lol..we dont like carl but we never wanna see anyone get hurt...and brad did nothing wrong..carl just thought he had more room to block is all

  • your dad is a genious fr0z3nproductions

  • brad keslowski was like ''u actully thaught i was gonna push u''........ then spun him out

  • "If your not first, your last."

  • Auch, thats so crazy. !

  • we know who really won.

  • omg!!! something exciting finally happens xD

  • Edwards got wrecked plain as day

  • I would have done the exact same thing Kezelowski did... hold my line. He didn't turn into Edwards. He held his ground when Edwards tried to put a block. I don't think it was really anyones fault. This is just what happens when you race at Daytona and Dega.

  • Yeah I completely agree, The creator of this, Alex3003, has it all wrong. Brad held his line. Carl came down on Brad, and Carl even said himself that he came down on Brad.

  • IT actually was Edward's mistake. He tried to block the same way twice, which never works.

  • Brad did nothing wrong. If I had checkers right in front of me and someone tries to block me when they are not clear, I'm not lifting. Yellow line or not. I am a Carl Edwards fan and he clearly took himself out.

  • That was the best end of a race I think in nascar history Beside the 3 race in 2001 with Harvick and Dale Sr old car

  • Brad Kezelowski should be stripped of the win, but when has NASCAR ever done the right thing? Kezelowski is a self-aggrandizing asshole. After that wreck, he had the audacity to do a burn out, rather than his first concern being for the people that he injured. At least everyone knows that Carl Edwards has class. Kezelowski needs to be taken out behind the woodshed and have an ass whoopin like no one's ever seen. I hope he gets his; and real soon.

  • you obviously dont watch enough races. its pretty obvious that edwards is at fault here because he tried to come down and block keselowski. there was nowhere for brad to go in that situation.

also, if edwards had any doubt whose fault it actually was, he would have said so (because they always do). he was aware thats just hard racing.

also, its his first win; he has the right to do a burnout. its the track officials job to make sure the people are okay, not his

  • I'm not quite as pissed off as you about it, but you definitely make a good point about how Brad should have made sure everyone was ok before celebrating. I know it was his first win and all, but when cars go flying show some concern.

  • how do u know he hadnt heard that edwards was out of car from the crew he has done nothing wrong it the post race or the last turn he had every right to hold his line from edwards blocking

  • what edwards did running to the line that right there was the moment of the race

  • brad kezelowski is an asshole he spun edwards he said so himself if anyone thinks brad did nothing worng just listen to me that is if they did not have rplates what will the results be for carl edwards think about it

  • Comment removed

  • Shades of Ricky bobby... heh...

This was so sad, HEs JUST ABOUT TO WIN, then the last second... damn. That race was intense.

  • nasty!! what a stupid commentator..doesnt even care if the guys dead lool

  • After what happend to Carl at 1:40 and all they worry about is Ryan's front end being destroyed.

  • This is awesome! lol... Wow it was really interesting and pretty fun to watch. :) I am totally subscribing! ;)

  • Just glad Jrs better half won the race Earnhardt and kezelowski def but fucked after that win

  • Fuck Run Forest Run

    RUN CARL RUN :-) lmfao

    amazing!! :)

  • HE RICKY BOBBY'D THE FUCKING RACE! WHAT THE SHIT?! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I'd still punch out the driver that caused it though!

  • he caused the accident because when you watch the actual race they show a replay of brad passing and carl edwards going down to defend but he was to late and his back was already behind brads front

    he spun himself out

  • guess that means he'd have to punch himself..lol

  • Yea, I saw the it closely, my bad.

  • Ricky Bobby!

  • was he on fire (in his head)?

  • in the words of ricky bobby "hang on baby jesus!"

  • NASCAR is boring ^^ they just drive in circle ^^ but the accidents are nice ^^

  • They don't always race in a GOD DAMN CIRCLE! I'm tired of hearing that...

  • yeah they dont, they race on road coarses 2 TIMES A YEAR!!! Hahahaha And even when they do that, half the field switches to road racing drivers... Its because their tiny little brains arent big enough to navigate left AND RIGHT... Dont get me wrong I like some drivers, Stewart, Edwards, Montoya, Mears, Rudd, and Martin.. but the rest can go to hell...

  • Actually there is 3 road courses but do to the Swine Flu issue the Mexico City Race scheduled for this week was cancelled but that is also a road course

  • Incorrect. 2 road courses in Sprint Cup, Sonoma and Watkins Glen, and 2 in Nationwide, Mexico City and Montreal.

  • MX isn't on the circut anymore. I think it was just to introduce Mexico to NASCAR to help start the NASCAR series in Mexico. The Glen is on the Nwide schedule though, both races in August.

  • it was the front stretch dude

  • I love how when a CRAPCAR race is advertised on TV, a wreck is almost ALWAYS featured.

NASCAR is nothing more than WWF/WWE with rwd Ford Fusions.

    So lame.

  • i dont see the point in going around in circles +200 times and how there are so many people there watching. no super kill envovled at all. i only watch nascar when they actually road race and make right turns.

  • well thats racing !

  • edwards did his flip a lil early

  • lolll

  • foi louco.....

  • and people say nascar is just racing in circles?

  • how fast are they?

  • bout 200mph on these tracks cos there restricted on the this one and daytona

  • WOW.... AMazing BEST NASCAR FINISH EVER !!

  • thats racing boys.....for those of you who think you know what your talking about when it comes to these car frames and cages, you have no idea.....so just please shut up unless you have been to school for it because your making yourselves look like idots...

  • Comment removed

  • fuck up like you know about these cars ass hole countrybitchGA101

  • lol that was a crazy finish and it was all racin!!! My question is that they did not interview Ryan Newman and he got nailed hard! and then hit the inside wall! I wanna kno how he felt!

  • Damn what a finish!!!!!!!

  • yeeeeee haw! hold on tight!

  • Prepare to fly through the air!

  • that mufucker got kick like a soccer ball into da fence.

  • carl edwards isnt a motherfucker you nigger

  • Yikes, that is insane.. Much respect for Edwards though for "finishing the race."

  • that was awsome. great ending to a race

  • for those of u who blame brad for wrecking carl, u guys r stupid. carl just came down and tried to block him and he couldnt do anything

  • its that double yellow line rule. brad didnt have anywhere to go

  • Carl should of been disqualified. He didn't bring a piece of the car with him to the finish line. lol.

  • it is expected to defend your position by blocking some one behind you from passing, but cutting sombody off at 200 mph is a not good

  • Oh and he wouldnt have lived, if that woulda flipped over, and landed at an angle upside down... the cage isnt designed to hold a crash like that upside. Its only good to crash on its sides.

  • Are you an idiot? what the hell is the earnhardt bar called. Those cars a safe from impacts in pretty much every direction.

  • Actually... he didnt run accross the line for show man ship.. he wus told to. He could get lucky, and win do to a technicality. The one that hit him could have been disqualified, and he coulda won. Epic Crash though...

  • I have to say this is one of the coolest wrecks I have ever seen, I can't believe he survived that! I was like, Oh hell he isn't going to come out of this alive....He got lucky! It's amazing he was able to get out and run the finish line, I felt real bad for those fans that got injured though, and too bad he didn't win the race =[

  • its the tri oval he got wrecked, not the front stretch.

    still pretty amazing crash.

  • thats badass that he ran to the finish line

  • nasty crash

  • YAY! 8500 VIEWER

  • Just think how exciting this would have been if they were all racing electric hybrids.... NASCAR Democrat style.

  • ya haha. wow that would would be awful.

  • Thank you Nascar for posting this video. You guys get advertising, and we get to see the crash we missed!

  • thats funny/scary/awsome!! lol

  • One of the bigger "Oh Shit!" Moments in nascar.

  • man the whole bar i was at sayed HOLY SHIT at the same time!

  • are you a redneck?

  • ummm no actually no, but a like racing... why would i be a redneck?

  • This happened because of NASCAR's lack of enforcing the rule. They originally claimed that if you're forced below the line, you're fine. Well Regan Smith found out that it's a lie, so Brad had no option but to hold his line and not give in to Carl, which Carl acknowledged. It's a shame NASCAR cannot enforce a rule.

But they got the fireworks they wanted.

  • Must be a rookie driver.. doing spinouts to mark the victory and almost hitting the other cars

  • thats some Athlete spirit!! lolz

  • and after that huge crash as well

  • congrads to Carl for walking acrost the line, bust what's his face should be smaked for spining him out!

  • In the driver's meeting at both Daytona and Talladega, NASCAR emphasizes no passing below the double yellow line no matter what. Keselowski was simply following the rules stated by NASCAR.

Edwards actually said something about knowing it wasn't Brad's fault due to that rule post-race. Just go back to last year, then you'll see what happens when the exact same situation occurs and you DO go below the double yellow line.

  • he didnt intentionally spin him out. If you try to block someone out giving them no options and u dont do it quick enough, their hood is in your rear. Quote: OCAdam: "This happened because of NASCAR's lack of enforcing the rule. They originally claimed that if you're forced below the line, you're fine. • i was hoping the number 48 driver would have got hurt really bad in his crash, but dam i have no luck the devil hates me.

  • Fuck you.

  • I don't follow Nascar that closely, does him crossing the line without a car actually count? surely not.

  • no it doesnt, he did that for his own personal satisfaction. which in my opinion is pretty kewl.

  • IF YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT THE YELLOW LINE

Just like me, every nascar fan out there, and reegan smith thought that someone crossing the the line after getting hit wouldnt count

IF YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT THE FINISH LINE: Watch the movie Talladega nights and get a sense of humor

  • he wanted to finish the race...car or not...
