there are a number of mental conditions sciance still hasnt tapped into. There was a case about a woman who was in love with her stuffed bear. In her mind the bear was a real person, to whom she left all her money when she died. Now why she felt this way ? no one can really tell. The same way no one can tell why a dude wants to stick his dick in another man or why a dude wants to get his dick removed and become a woman. Its all still an untapped field.

I really don't think it's that hard of a concept to grasp. Basically some gay men were born with female brains; i.e., feminine brain patterns in their brain as opposed to masculine brain patterns to match the biological genitalia of the body. It's an interesting anomaly that DOES occasionally occur in nature.

Well I can't speak for how they feel but from all the stories and studies of come across it seems that there is always a psychological or emotional explanation for such thoughts which are usually generated during the early years of development. So I don't beleive people are born this way.

Well, from how I understand it, gender identity doesn't necessarily have anything to do with who you are attracted to. There are women who are attracted to men, and they want to be men, likewise there are men who are attracted to women who want to be women.
