  • makes you wonder what it would have been like if they "didn't change the characters"

  • "Exactly the same" right!, Daffy was never a moron and Bugs was never irritable and short tempered, Gossamer was never a child and Witch Hazel was never a sassy black woman.

  • Best.........show......EVER!

  • i think this show is funny and entertaining, i just have 1 roblem with it, the fact that they made lola stupid and chase after bugs, bugs is suppose 2 chase her, she is like a syco stalker, thats my only problem, the overal show so far seem 2 be good

  • @MsRaffie you misspelled "psycho"

  • Lies! They changed it from this format! LIES!!

  • i think they should just stop trying to re-modern everything , it was perfect just how it was years ago , now you dickheads are just ruining everyone childhood its fine just how it was let it rock

  • For haters out there, if you think this is bad, compare it to shows like problem solverz and almost naked animals. I think it's great.

  • @TheMurphman18 We hate it because they rewrote the childhoods of 90% of the population. Looney Tunes has touched many generations. This is making a mockery of it.

  • @awesomegreenlantern That's not a very good reason -__-

  • @awesomegreenlantern

    dumbass -______-

  • @petershutt18 My head is dumb, but my ass is very intelligent.

  • @TheMurphman18 THANK YOU FINNALY SOMEONE AGREES WITH ME YOUR SO COOL

  • i think this show is good compared to the rest of the crap on cartoon network

  • This show is pretty good. I prefer it over the classic, but that's just my taste. Nothing is wrong with this show, no need for older fans to bash it since the people behind it are accomplishing their dream of cartooning. If you don't like the show, don't have connections with it and stfu b/c we don't care about your negativity towards it. Nothing nice to say then stfu. Go accomplish something.

  • i saw a few eps of this show recently and i thought it was really good, too bad the fanatics of the old show wont give it the benefit of the doubt:/

oh and i watched the old show, alot

  • I really dont know why people are complaining about the show. I mean of course its not as good as the original but come on folks, its pretty funny! You should not just compare every episode to the original but try to enjoy its refreshing humor.

  • Idk. They ruined Marvin the Martian for me with that music video thing they did.

  • Mine just froze on advertisement! any idea whats up??

  • why did this show have nazis in it

  • funny thing about this show

so many things flew past censors by today standards would have

been noticed and had this show cancelled. EXAMPLES:

Daffy referred to Leghorn waddle as '2 weird balls hanging from his chin'. Yosemite Sam sang about "blowing [his] stack"

yesterday they show nazis, occupied-france, and gunfire.

  • @Karlos1234ify The reason the nazis got by is b/c the sign was changed.

  • I'm sorry, but...please, please PLEASE stop regurgitating old classics. They're called classics for a reason; no matter how modern you try to make the characters or make the show, it will never be anywhere near as good as the original Looney Tunes.

  • @CarolinesEcho I like it.

  • does anyone know if disney warner brothers or any other studios copyrighted patented or trademarked the 1930s black and white style? If not can someone tell me who does know?

  • I thought the first two episodes were weak but episode 3 +4 made my sides hurt so bad from laughing so much. I think it needs to time to build itself up.

  • The show is actually quite good...

Completely in spite of the fact that it just happens to star what are supposed to be the Looney Tunes characters (in name only) and the character designs range from acceptable to horrible. Same characters, my ass. And why did they make Bugs Bunny the straight man!?!

  • i think its a disgrace!!! an insult to chuck jones. its just like a shitty remake of a great movie, rot in hell all you stupid 13 year old children

  • @BirthOfSerpents a tv show is no reason for any one to rot in hell, peace in society man (:

  • @pickmeup95 when they ruin something that should be sacred yes it is

  • @BirthOfSerpents

    .....don't you mean cartoon.....

  • @AVGN4life1 my bad man, it was pretty late when i wrote that comment. i was extremely tired and angry eh what are you gonna do right

  • @BirthOfSerpents Get over yourself =/

  • @demonjack123 the remaking of old classics needs to stop!!! now they are remaking thundercats!!!! thundercats really!!! nothing is sacred anymore

  • @BirthOfSerpents Quit your bitching and be thankful kids these days who DONT KNOW WHO THE LOONEY TOONS ARE, are actually experiencing one of the best classics ever remade.

  • @demonjack123 they are experiencing something in the wrong way!!! the looney tunes is actively shown on tv. dont ruin something the older generation enjoys just to make a quick buck!

  • @BirthOfSerpents YOu're an idiot, I watched alot of Looney toons and "Toon heads" growing up, and I think this new Looney toons is pretty good.

  • @BirthOfSerpents Dude, this generation is born in the time of newer things such as remakes. They have the option to watch the classic but if they don't oh well. Many ppl including myself enjoy the new show, I was never really a fan of the classic and still am not. Quick buck? Bro, not even close. It's called having a dream and that's what the ppl who work on this show are accomplishing.

  • @EricJonRussell hahaha a dream you sir must not realize that people today like to cash in on others hard work

  • @BirthOfSerpents You do know the creators of the classics tend to have different opinions that are actually good.

  • I think this is great at least CN is trying to bring the 80's and 90's back unlike Nickelodeon. i love this idea its great. i hope it lasts for at least 10 or more years :)

  • I didnt think the show would be good but they did manage to keep the characters personalities pretty spot on. I liked the couple episodes I saw pretty well

  • the CGI scenes look like they might be kinda weak, and the musical shorts so far are awkward, but the character-driven episodes themselves I think will be gold

  • Hey, you know what!? I think we need more remakes and sequels of things that already exist! Marketing things that are new is so hard, while established properties are easy because people are psychologically more likely to watch something that they know was good, or have some feelings of nostalgia towards!

Frankly, at this point, I don't really care if this is a good cartoon. I dislike the trend that movies and shows are taking towards remaking existing content that I reject it regardless.

  • @vavassor Right, it's a guaranteed demographic to sell to and is a practical and efficient business decision. But when a show is modernized to the point where something new and of quality is added, like in this show, it's not that bad.

  • @vavassor jerk

  • So May is the new fall. Seriously what took so long. I hope it is good though. I am going to watch it today and hopefully it is as good as the cartoons I saw as the 90's as a kid, like tiny toons and animaniacs.

  • "Twenty ten" my ass.

  • What sucks is they waited til this month, May 2011, to bring it to CN. It was supposed to be here last Fall.

  • @kyuubinaruto199 Yeah true, but this show would probably have been pretty crappy if they pushed the due date too soon, though it'll never go as low as Problem Solverz. NEVER!!

  • I feel like Warner Brothers get the idea that we want what made them popular in the first place. Them bringing back the classic Looney Tunes is a start, plus that New Scooby-Doo which is kinda okay and Adventure Time, Chowder, and Regular Show are really good. Seems like they're trying to step up. Now if Disney and Nick can do the same.

  • The CG Road Runner cartoons look terrible! What is this, 2001? Surely they could make it look at least almost as good as the theatrical cartoons they're airing right now.

  • @SergeantLuke Limited animation with CGI doesn't look appealing. They should had hand drawn these shorts instead.

  • Daaaw, I was looking forward to no cgi :/ ohwell. Beggars can't be choosers

  • Actually, I would like to see Daffy Duck in a plane. I would like that very much.

  • wow real cartoons may come back..

  • i'll give it a chance, but hey, atleast the good old cartoons are getting a somewhat of a come back

  • im probably not goin to like this but ill give it a chance

  • Don't get ur hopes up, the new Lola bunny is nothing like the old Lola bunny. The new Lola is so stupid(p.s i love the old Lola from space jam). the old Lola is so cute, but the new Lola is not. even bugs(in the new looney tunes) tries to break up with her and in the old looney tunes and in space jam, bugs was so in love with Lola bunny. by the way, the new voice for Lola isn't hot, but the old voice of Lola was so hot.

  • @anna551ful Lola's actually funny and not some sexy bunny that can prove the boys she has game. I'm sick of the "If you're a girl, you're not strong" crap. But I agree, the voice needs to be better. And Lola's actually cute here too.

  • @NinJutsuDude1997 IF u really liked Lola bunny, u shouldn't be happy that the change her so much. I liked Lola, who she really was, but the new Lola is not the real Lola. I really liked Lola in space jam (p.s a really good movie) by the way, i agree with " if you're a girl, you're not strong" that is crap. also have u seen the old Lola? and tell me who is cuter, the old Lola or the new Lola?

  • @anna551ful Seriously. Lola didn't have much of a personality in Space Jam. She was the hot, sassy girlfriend-romantic interest of Bugs Bunny who wasn't that Looney at all. But now, she's kinda kooky and kinda funny, and that's cool. What would've been worst is that they made an entirely new female character for Bugs who was kooky and funny. I'm willling to give this show a chance because it will not be as great as the classics but it does appear worth watching.

  • Those Bugs Bunny ears are way better accessories than those lame-ass Mickey Mouse ear hats.

  • @snookypoolol I agree i hope these guys have done there research

  • The Looney Tunes Show is coming in May 2nd.

  • "This Fall" my ass.

  • i love looney tunes and now that is a show it will be cool cuz they will interacting with each other

  • I wish they would bring some older stuff like the Loonatics or just the classics only . . . retouched a bit just to make it better quality and stuff. I mean, it's an interesting idea but . . .

  • i heard the offical permiere will come in may of 2011

  • CGI Roadrunner.

    WHY...?

  • @HappyAppleCider I think they made the roadrunner and Wile CGI because they could do more stuff, since they are always in a chase and so more things could be open to animation since its CGI.

  • @Wolfscar45 Did you seriously just tell me that you can do more visually with CGI than 2-D animation in a cartoon?

Child, no. Just no. Go back to your room, and do your homework or play with toys. The internet is not the place for you.

  • @HappyAppleCider Well excuse me for not knowing << damn,ok then maybe they wanna try something new? There happy? Who you calling a child anyway, and apparently you don't belong on the internet either if you act like this because of one comment.

  • @Wolfscar45 I call you a child because your username is one that a child would come up with. Because you write like a child. Because you use emoticons like a child. Because you were not able to recognize that I had asked a rhetorical question. Because you gave a weak argument to support an incorrect assumption, as a child would. Because you are letting my words-- a complete stranger's opinion on the internet-- affect you to this point where you counter with what is essentially, "No you!"

  • The show is airing in May, and this time it's Official! Check CN video for 3 exclusive clips of the show !

  • they made the charaters too "cute" for wile e coyote and road runner and tweetie looks a little different

  • Dude its 2011, where is this show!

  • @MaddenmanDaffyduck

It has been officially announced for April 2nd of this year

  • Its now 2011 and this is the fist time im hereing this

  • they messed up by not having Joe Alasky play the voice of daffy duck, like how he did it for DUCK DODGERS and all the daffy duck cartoons for like the last 25 yrs,,, the guy thats doing daffy ducks voice for this new show, his voice is way to damm deep for daffy, just sounds to deep for daff, forreal

  • @JOKAWILD26 Actually, the guy they have doing Daffy in this show is Jeff Bergman, who had originally taken the role of Daffy (as well as Bugs) after Mel Blanc died. The last show he did the voice for Daffy in was Tiny Toon Adventures (in which Joe Alaskey voiced Plucky Duck). I'm not sure of what happened after then with him, but only after Tiny Toons did Joe Alaskey start voicing Daffy. And since Tiny Toons' last episode was in 1995, it hasn't been 25 years since Alaskey took the roll of Daffy.

  • @tuxedomoroboshi joe alasky did daffy's voice in tiny toons, and space jam,, everything from tiny toons till now, i saw him on a interview talking about it

  • @JOKAWILD26 What interview are you talking about? Because Jeff Bergman was definitely the voice of Daffy on Tiny Toons (and you can tell just by listening to it that it's not Alaskey), and in Space Jam it was Dee Bradley Baker doing Daffy's voice. Actually, have you SEEN Space Jam? Daffy's voice in that sounds NOTHING like any Daffy that came before or after it. If you have a problem with Daffy's voice in this video, then I'd like to hear your opinion about his Space Jam voice.

  • @tuxedomoroboshi i seen an inerview of joe alasky here on youtube u can probly find it, and he talks about when he was working on tiny toons, and how he played to voice of daffy duck and plucky duck both, and how warner bros, wanted him to make plucky sound like daffy but just a lil differ, he gave impressions of both voices, jefrfr bergmaqn hasnt played daffy ducks voice is like 25 years,, and he sucks at daffy's voice too, to deep, he use to do greedy daffy, alasky has been from tiny toons

  • @JOKAWILD26 Ah, well thanks for providing some info as to which interview that is, as now I know which one you're talking about. Being this one: watch?v=tGRLzrP_ZoQ

However, not once in that did he mention doing Daffy's voice, only that WB wanted the Plucky voice to be similar to Daffy's, but different, as you stated. And seriously, go watch Tiny Toons and you'll see that this Daffy voice is the same as that one.

In fact, here's a very good example: watch?v=Lcb4VYSGecc#t=5m38s

  • @tuxedomoroboshi well i think Joe Alasky is better, especially when i watch the Duck Dodgers episodes, that use to come on cartoon network, or the duck dodgers short that came with loonytoons back in action,, he could make daffy duck sound more dingy, like he's dumb, and he sounds funny, and make him sound more concieted in a funny kind of way, especially with duck dodgers,, the jokes dont come off right with jeff bergman, his voice is to deep, he cant make him sound ditzy

  • 0:38-0:41

hahahaha leave it to Warner Bros to get a Reference from Sonic The Hedgehog!

    SEGAAAAAA!!!!!

  • I wished they showed a clip of Pepe Le Pew he's my favorite charactor

and pray that the animation is not ugly like Chowder or my gym partner's a monkey YUCK! (I'm a picky Girl when it comes to my cartoons ^_^ lol)

and no more of this reality show crap (Hole in the wall, Dude, what would happen) WTF?

  • @rissarae3 dont forget to add destroy build destroy to that list hahah

  • @rissarae3 Actually, Brainrush or whatever was a GOOD live action show on CN. The rollercoaster trivia game? It was actually unique. Only 6 episodes though...

  • @zackfair73195 I watched one episode and it annoyed me how this one contestant freaked out on the boomerang (which is not even scary...) and the questions were kinda of lame..just my opinion ..maby its cause I don't care for history or sports idk.

  • when is this coming they said this fall and fall is almost over

  • @amefig It's coming February 2011.

  • i dont wanna c full episodes i wanna c 7 min shorts again

  • @rockstardesignsv2

Then go watch the old looney tunes.

  • looney tunes fell off for awhile. idk about this show. i used to like the looney tune, it's just they seem like they tried too hard and fell off, well after space jam they did, they tried coming back with back in action movie but they stayed down. i hope this show will rock altho they have ass hole looking guys behind it.

  • cool, i loved the looney tunes on saturday morning cartoons so its good to see it coming back, daffy sounded different, i wonder how bugs will sound

  • I can't wait to see it on CN starting in February. I hope this show will beat "Hannah Montana", "Spongebob" and "iCarly" out of the water. Move over Disney, here comes the "Looney Tunes".

  • @HomeoftheGoodGuys disney only owns one of thsoe shows and spongebob won't be beaten every episode is number 1 on the charts and they were able to beat the superbowl once they won't be beaten by them.

  • @HomeoftheGoodGuys amen! best cartoons ever.

  • Warner brothers animation is making a come back, all these cartoons feel like a throw back to the 90s, when we had the DC animated universe, Tiny toons and Animaniacs. While I dont think the charm of 90s animation can ever be brought back, these new shows have great potential

  • @sonickid101 The charm of the 90s comes from dirty jokes and comedians who were funny. The 90s don't need to be brought bak and it's a weird thing to say that they do because you liked them.the new shows are successful so why take away what make new kids happy? because your opinion counts more than they'res?.

  • it looks good but needs to be better

  • ANYONE HAVE AN EXACT AIR DATE FOR THIS!

  • Comment removed

  • looks promising although the cgi roadrunner and coyote looks like shit

  • NO! NOT CGI?!

  • didnt fall start like a month ago?

  • i hope the bring back the old cartoon memories

  • i hope the bring back the old cartoon memorys

  • This could very well completely ruin the Looney Tunes... I don't like the idea of a full 1/2 hour show the shorts format was way better.

  • the new character designs SUCK BALLS!!! :(

  • I'm happy to know cartoon network will once again be about cartoons and not the crap they been trying to do lately, it's all been like a bad phase for the network.

Unnatural History? Tower Prep? Hole in the Wall? Live action crap?

God no, let's go back to what i and many others expect from the network, CARTOONS!!!!

It IS Cartoon Network after all! So where the hell are the cartoons?!

Okay yes their are a few cartoons, but we need more and less live action.

  • daffy's voice seems a little deep, for daffy,, its suppose to be a lil more high pitch then that, but the cartoon looks coo

  • @JOKAWILD26 They have tiny errors in cartoons i only want:

    It To Be TV-G

    To Have Violence

To Have A Black Person In The Cartoon To Later Have It Edited Or If They Draw Them Less Racist Then Keep Them In

    To Have Humor

To Have Bugs Still Saying "i knew i shoulda taken that left turn at Albuquerque" and "Whats Up Doc" lines

  • i have the spotlight 2 collection

  • I wish they'd just bring back the CLASSIC Looney Tunes. Don't get me wrong...I"m all for the NEW episodes idea...but bring back the old stuff in a separate show or something.

  • @Smoker4Hire why not just go buy them? the classics were repeated for years and years and years and now everytime something new happens fans get up into arms.

  • @Smoker4Hire they did on cartoon network

  • @Smoker4Hire they did

  • @Smoker4Hire if you want old school looney tune 6:00am morning week days cartoon network

  • @Smoker4Hire good news they just did

  • @Smoker4Hire they brought back origanal looney tunes!!!!!!!

  • @Smoker4Hire They are, in fact, last week, they were showing the classic Looney tunes on CN at lunch time. =D

  • @6t76t And every weekday at six o' clock in the morning.

  • so...when will it come out

  • @starylamie They said Fall 2010. They give release dates like Peter Molyneaux...lol

  • @Smoker4Hire yeah i got that figure out though since it fall 2010, i just wondering isn't that time is............well about now?

  • @starylamie Indeed it is. But the production of tv shows and movies is a very tricky thing. All kinds of delays and what not can crop up at the last minute. Guess we"ll have to wait and see.

  • I think it's dumb that they have an option to pause the advertisement that NOBODY wants to watch, like who the fuck wants to do that? lol

  • I hope they dont fuck this one up. It it succeed it will be the best show on cartoon network. Ed edd and eddy is good too.

  • @snookypoolol

    >It it succeed it

    >It it

    What.

  • @alasanof I thinkhe meanit, if it succeeds it will be the best show on cartoon network

  • I grew up watching looney tunes (I'm 22); to this day they are one of my all-time favorite cartoons, and I hafta say that I cannot wait for this to premiere, this looks amazing and Im glad to see the younger generation will get to experience them

  • you can already tell this show will fail. this looks way off compared to the classics.

  • @FireLightning16 ? you do realize this is actually incredibly clos eto the orginal rights? the only difference is that some eps will take place in a neighboorhood and it isn't the first time we've seen bugs go out into the city so.

  • @FireLightning16 actually im willing to give this a chance. true it wont be exactly the same, but hey, its worth a shot.

  • im really hyped for this one

  • i ONLY care that it is rated TV-G if it isn't then it's gonna be bad and as long as they keep in the old violence cigarettes and the occasional black person which is later removed from the cartoon

  • @Joemamma69000 It's called the FCC

  • Comment removed

  • @FCUYTFUYTF they were always cartoons on cartoon network

  • @FCUYTFUYTF Cartoons have always been on they're infact they appear more then the live action shows who get a one hour block so shut up about the cartoon thing it only makes you look stupid to someone who actually watches the channel.

  • @FCUYTFUYTF they've alwasy been on they're idiots like you just don't pay attention and think 5 live action shows equals an entire channel.

  • @FCUYTFUYTF this comment was incredibly narrow minded

  • The animation looks too fake.

  • @WumWip thats not the point

  • @wootsausemanman

actually, the animation is what matters. It's what made these characters known in the first place.

  • @WumWip thats not the point either you stated it dosent look real this is a style closly resembles the 1940s the golden age can you imagen if bugs and daffy look'd realistic

  • @wootsausemanman

You need to study your animation closely

  • @WumWip Not really the characters appeared completly different orginally and were popular enough to get reborn with beter money and the early designs were radiclly different so the look doesn't matter hell the personalities don't either.

  • @mayhem9024

Yes the looks and personalities DO matter. You know nothing about character development.

  • @WumWip It seems your first instict is to say someone doesn't know anything when they disagree my freind so i say chill out as you've made yourself look like a douche when you seem intelligent.Character development does matter but it isn't everything as many popcorn flicks will show audinces don't always want to think one reason nolan might not be the success he is now in 5 years.Continue in next post.

  • @mayhem9024

When you've worked on animated feature films, come talk to me, chump. Till then, don't act like you know what you're talking about.

  • @WumWip I haven't my freind and never said i did but i've looked into these things and it's become obvious your a jerk who can't take others opinions.Your grade A asshole who thinks he's high and mighty so i say to you when you have grown up mabey people will listen and respect you chump.

  • @WumWip Also heres an episode douchebag duck amuck had the setting the character everything change alot and it's called amazing because it showed the world all you need is the name and that it's brand hell even chuck said he wanted to show that these characters aren't just personality and design.Besides this is a half assed arguement man now that i re read it i mean it ignores everything i said and is basiclly "unless you've done as much as me shut up you have no opinion".

  • @WumWip Continued from last post:Now as for te looney tunes characters they were loved way before they got the look we all know and love and in reality when they started out as generic characters and somewhat different personalities they got major love and enough to get better designs so as it's been shown audinces are easy to adopt to changes of looney tunes as they've done it before.

  • @WumWip Too fake? It's unfinished footage.

  • this actually looks really good!

  • 0:38 who does that coyote think he is sonic the hedgehog?

  • Cartoon Network is BACK!

  • I'm cautiously looking forward to this. It might be pretty good, but I don't like the look of the CG Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote shorts. And the animation style looks very different from what I'm used to. And what is with Daffy's voice at 1:09? "I know this, I know this." It sounds much lower-pitched than what I'm used to.

  • When in Fall is this coming out? September?

  • @CartoonGuy13 In November

  • This looks pretty promising for CN, I was worried that the animation style would be done with flash animation, but it isn't, it's traditional animation! I don't like flash because It's done so quickly it doesn't have any charm, THAT'S MY OWN OPINION. Traditional is the way to go. Second, the character designs are pretty good, they remind me of the WB 1940s era, but really I think it should've went with a 1990s - 2000s style like Space Jam or Back in Action.

    LET'S KEEP OUR FINGERS CROSSED!
