This has always been one of my favorite songs. I first heard it in this movie, and this is my favorite version of it. For years I've been singing it in the shower, when I was in middle school I sang it when I tried out for a play, and now that I'm older, it's helped me get through some tough times. Today Google has a Charlie Chaplin video up as their logo due to his birthday.

I watched it and then when it was over I got to where it shows links. So I went to his web site. Clicked the first video and heard the instrumental. My mom died when I was 15, and Ive always loved the "My girl" movies...My mom and I used to watch them together all the time when I was little.....Im a lot like Vada, a free spirit, and a writer. Whenever I see this scene I cant help but think of my mom and smile = )

Recently a tremendous amount of exposure has been given to the fellowship of offshore workers with injuries. In my own case of a severe closed head injury; I am truly grateful for this video.
