Thanks. Yes, We miss her terribly! Regarding 6 going on 2, it's the truth! Abby was 10 going on 4! They have such young spirits,they can pass for much younger than they really are! Our black lab isn't aging as well, (12 going on 15!) She is gray around the nose, and has arthritis. She doesn't get excited to fetch anymore, but she LOVES to eat! When it comes to eating, she is 12 going on pup! LOL! Your beautiful lab is the definition of "lab spirit" and a happy reminder of Abby! Tnx
I think I have found our Chocolate Lab's sister! We had to put our 10 year old lab to sleep last month. It was heartbreaking. I miss her so much. I saw your lab's eyes, face, and nose, and it's almost identical! Even to the expressions! Labs NEVER get tired of playing fetch do they? Abby would play all day if you let her. She LIVED to play fetch! Fetching was her job! Thanks for this video. We got Abby from a AKC breeding Kennel in Texas. I LOVE Labs! They are SO loyal.

hazeleyeddayna, don't hesitate to choose a chocolate lab. I have one named Rebel who has been my constant companion wether hunting, fishing or just watching t.v. He is without a doubt the smartest dog i have ever known. He's now 11 years old and near the end of his days. My heart will be crushed when he is gone. Get a lab! Best breed on the planet!
Haha my lab does the same thing... Like to a tee. Cept he don't take crap. He only waits for you to throw the ball for about 10 seconds, then He'll jump.
@yoursuchagoodguy u have no idea how many countless hours were spent at the park, and walking the 'hood with that fabulous Lab, not to mention the countless drives around the area just so she could stick her head out the window and show off her doggles with her big ole' ears floppin' in the wind :)
how do you train a lab to like be calm enough to just walk around the house, Im trying to train mine to just sleep on a dog bed without having to be in a kennel or locked up
female chocolate labs are so so smart. My friend has one that is 6 years old and she learned in a day how to retrieve her leash....she loves to be taken for a walk and always relies on me taking her out, and everytime she goes out she comes back in and waits for a doggie biscuit.
These dogs are naturally smart in my opinion. Very evenly tempered and happy to be around people....
