  • Is chacon a catalan surename?

  • @josuelitos No. It's a Spanish surename . A lot of surenames of Catalan people are Spanish beacause in the past a lot ( A LOT) of spanish people came to Catalonia to work.

  • Congratulations for the video!!

  • Este tio es gilipollas y nunca ha estado ni en Valencia, ni en Mallorca, ni Ibiza...

  • Oh yes, Catalonia is not Spain. Except for the music. And the constitution, and the political parties, and the common history, and millions of personal relationships, and the press, and each and every social issue, and the economy, and literature.

Ah, and the language too. Matthew Tree is himself "free-floating".

  • @CandideCAT Common history? England and Ireland have too common history but they are separate countries. The "union" between countries like Catalonia, Valencian country, Balear Islands, Basque country, Galicia and Navarra is based on laws made by the Castillian invaders and marriages to expend their empire against the other countries people desires. I don't understand what do you mean with "relationships", Austra and Germany have many realtionships (culture, language) but they're independent.

  • @SeriesCatalanesTV "World apart from the rest of Spain" is what Mr Tree says. And that's what I replied to.

  • @CandideCAT It was a metaphor, obviously.

  • @SeriesCatalanesTV Yes, I know Catalonia is not on a different planet. You just sound like it.

  • Visca Catalunya Lliure!
