  • I'm getting no video from it.

  • This mod kinda sucks. Use the LM310 voltage follower chip. Its a drop in replacment for the LM318 mod circuit, and you can eliminate the 10k resistor and 27pF cap in the feedback loop since the 310 is internally connected as a follower. I built one and it works great. Colors are correct, no noise/tearing in pix.

  • did you have any problems adjusting the pot to get a good picture? mine wants to be a Paine can get good pic but after a min or two it gets crazy might have gotten a bad part

  • no, did not have any problem with the modification.

  • turns out it was my small TV it's on the path to FUBAR

I tried on my other tube tv and on my flat screen TV and it

    looks SOOOOOOOOOOOO PURDY

    mod works perfect

thanks fore getting back to me and posting this badass vid

  • Excellent job, Sir! I wish my Colecovison had a composite cable attachment instead of that awful R.F switch.

  • Very cool, nice music too:)

  • Impressive, and thanks! I went can got the parts tonight. I was able to revive a "dead" Coleco. I suppose there was a RF problem. I figured to try this and bypass the crappy RF.

It works, and looks great! Is there an easy Intellivision version? I'd rather not buy those $40 pre-made mods. This total cost was about $3.50!

  • Awesome DIY mod! Never seen this but it's such a delicate procedure to mod a console. Cool none the less.

  • thats cool man...by the time you are done you will have a whole new system

  • Looking good man! I think I might try this mod too.
