Actually... What Itachi has under his cloak is armor. Armor he got from Madara. Itachi defends himself from Sasuke's last attack. Sasuke is completely out of Chakra. Itachi then rises and uses Susanoo. In the end, Itachi wins this fight. It's kinda confirmed in 391. They got us thinkin Sasuke would win... He did have a great effort, but still can't get the power. Itachi is just a prodegy. And Sasuke couldn't work hard enough to beat his Prodegy brother.

Anyway im guessing it has to do something with the thunder and rain..or even maybe its its raining ..think about it water and lightning..could be a very big bang.
I just wanna see the story between sasuke and itachi come to a close so they can focus on tobi and pain. So hopefully this is what the authors doing :D

Didn't Kakashi say before the time skip ages ago that if Sasuke uses al of his chakra and hits rock bottom, the curse seal comes out in all it's glory to give him the ability to run on empty for a while, and then later it puts him in pain. Like when he tried to force a chidori on Gaara in the Chuunin Exams

itachi will surely avoid sasukes jutsu, the last fight category they will emerged is taijutsu, this is usually the pattern of all japanesse anim especially if the involved are brothers, they are both flame users, usually they will be out of chakra then they will end up fighting taijutsu,
What jutsu doesn't use chakra? Anyway, this fight is over unless Zetsu does something, and it doesn't look like he will. Still, I don't think they'll kill Itachi, because that would leave Sasuke with nothing to do. Dead air, ya know? Unless they give Sasuke another task, (hunting down Madara?) I wouldn't count on victory just yet. I'm sticking to my original estimate: Itachi loses, escapes, and is killed by Madara.
Makes sense to me or he escapes & Itachi & Madara are hunted down by Sasuke & Naruto. Remember Madara is basically the one responsible for killing Naruto's parents being killed & making him an orphan. i think your right because a couple of chapters ago sasuke asked itachi who the other uchiha survivor was and itachi asked why then sasuke said "because he's next on my list after i kill you!!" But then itachi said "you? kill him? Uchiha Madara." But i don't totally agree on your original estimate which is also very possible.
Didn't you hear? They changed the name of the manga to "Sasuke", and are removing any characters that don't directly relate to him. The rest of the series will focus entirely on his angst.

I'm almost positive that his "Final attack" is either 1 of 2 things or maybe both: Lightning ( "It will be over in an instant") or Acid Rain, which would kill both of them. ( "This will probably be my Final Jutsu") Maybe Sasuke really means it but he doesn't care because he would succeed in the only thing he wanted to do in life.

But don't forget, Sasuke was losing the beginning of the battle. Let's just hope Zetsu jumps in to help out or save Itachi, or Itachi turns the battle around.
The only reason he's losing is because he jumped the gun, depending on a major attack to finish Sasuke off at the get go. When it didn't work, he was handicapped. If he'd just played it safe, Sasuke would never have had the skills to take him down. (Zetsu: "Itachi should have been able to dodge that easily!", remember?)
Sasuke is sooo weak, he would never have been this strong if he didn't use the curse seal as a crutch. And even after absorbing Orochimaru he's probably STILL not a match for Naruto.

Didn't Kakashi say before the time skip ages ago that if Sasuke uses al of his chakra and hits rock bottom, the curse seal comes out in all it's glory to give him the ability to run on empty for a while, and then later it puts him in pain. Like when he tried to force a chidori on Gaara in the Chuunin Exams

itachi will surely avoid sasukes jutsu, the last fight category they will emerged is taijutsu, this is usually the pattern of all japanesse anim especially if the involved are brothers, they are both flame users, usually they will be out of chakra then they will end up fighting taijutsu,

What jutsu doesn't use chakra? Anyway, this fight is over unless Zetsu does something, and it doesn't look like he will. Still, I don't think they'll kill Itachi, because that would leave Sasuke with nothing to do. Dead air, ya know? Unless they give Sasuke another task, (hunting down Madara?) I wouldn't count on victory just yet. I'm sticking to my original estimate: Itachi loses, escapes, and is killed by Madara.

Makes sense to me or he escapes & Itachi & Madara are hunted down by Sasuke & Naruto. Remember Madara is basically the one responsible for killing Naruto's parents being killed & making him an orphan. Wow, I just realized Madara is directly responsible for most of the suffering in Naruto's & Sasuke's lives.

i think your right because a couple of chapters ago sasuke asked itachi who the other uchiha survivor was and itachi asked why then sasuke said "because he's next on my list after i kill you!!" But then itachi said "you? kill him? Uchiha Madara." But i don't totally agree on your original estimate which is also very possible.

does anyone remember when sasuke was fighting naruto, sakura, sai, and yamato at orochimaru's hideout? when sasuke was about to finish team kakashi and orochimaru grabbed his hand and told him not to use "that" jutsu. well, i think that is what he is going to use to kill itachi. if you don't know what i'm talking about watch naruto manga 309.

Remember the time when Sasuke met Naruto and his team ( Yamato, Sai, Sakura ) ? Sasuke was about to use a jutsu but Orochimaru hold his arm and say " It's not the right time for this ", so it's supposed to be an awesome jutsu, it must be THIS ONE ...
I still can't stand the fact that Sasuke could become this strong, I mean, it's ridiculous if he can kill Itachi in the end...

I'm almost positive that his "Final attack" is either 1 of 2 things or maybe both: Lightning ( "It will be over in an instant") or Acid Rain, which would kill both of them. ( "This will probably be my Final Jutsu") Maybe Sasuke really means it but he doesn't care because he would succeed in the only thing he wanted to do in life.

It's such a sad thought that Itachi's losing.
But don't forget, Sasuke was losing the beginning of the battle. Let's just hope Zetsu jumps in to help out or save Itachi, or Itachi turns the battle around.

The only reason he's losing is because he jumped the gun, depending on a major attack to finish Sasuke off at the get go. When it didn't work, he was handicapped. If he'd just played it safe, Sasuke would never have had the skills to take him down. (Zetsu: "Itachi should have been able to dodge that easily!", remember?)
