  • Beautifull performance. I did'nt knew this piece of the Great Alexander, but now thanks to you I'm gonna study it. I feel very in common whit your ideas, so for me is very nice hearing people like you standing that stetic flag of piano understunding. sorry my bad english.

    Congratulations from Argentina: Andrés

Escribí esto hace unos meses y Ud. no respondió. no sé si lo leyó por eso se lo vuelvo a publicar y reitero que la suya me parece una interpetación excelente e inspiradora!

    Andrés

  • I must say, this is a great performance of this impromptu.

I'm a little bothered, though, by your ""methods of expression".

How come you can let yourself go like that while I sit here, frowning in front of my piano-afraid to even smile even in the best and most expressive parts of a piece even if nobody is around!?

This is an outrage! I'm envious!

  • think the music and the Sandro's talent is enough for transferring the beauty to the listener and the facial expressions....... I prefered it without all the facial expressions, peace be upon Scriabin

  • think the music and the Sandro's talent is enough for transferring the beauty to the listener and the facial expressions makes it more difficult to be listened carefully

  • This Song is on Pianosocity and that how i heard it

THANK U SO MUCH FOR RECORDING THIS!!!

  • Could do without the facial expressions lol, but I absolutely love your interpretation of this impromptu. Well done.

  • @lewars1912

Good so. It would be worse the opposite: good the facial expressions and bad music.... Eheh....thank you much for attention and commenting!

  • @SarrasaniPianoCircus Yes, definitely worse the opposite lol. All the best.

  • @SarrasaniPianoCircus Beautifull impromptu, and also beautifull performance.

  • Did you meet Scriabin before? Or are you just naturally perfect in interpretation of my favorite composer?

  • @Martel211996

ahhhh! So funny and kind, thank you!! Great Scriabin , for me too is the first name among XX century composers, an absolute genius and fantastic also as man.

  • Very very good. I prefer this version much more than a cd that I own, played by Michael Ponti. You made me love this piece

  • I'm learning it =D

  • WONDERFUL ! I put this recording on my phone, thanks to you I don't get bored during classes ;)

  • You say be a fan, I would say personally that the love of music shines through your hand in your interpretations. Your sensitivity to resurface in the depths of your being the best. You are a talented pianist, giving the emotion ... bravo and thank you.

    Jacques de paris

  • Too much kind! Thank you much, really.

  • Awesome playing! Anyone knows where to get information on this song? Please share with me; I need it thanks :)

  • The information is : do not miss Sofronitzki version!!

  • THe one posted on youtube? Haha, watched it already....

Ohyes, most of his pieces are atonal is it?

  • Such an amazing interpretation !! It makes me cry T_T

  • Too much kind, thank you!

  • Wonderful piece

  • Your interpretations of russian music are so deep... so moving...

  • Thank you. You have helped me to understand this piece. I love your interpretation and the piano sounds wonderful.

  • now this is the scriabin i like. fast and loud and a bit atonal. liked it a lot. thanks!

  • Thank you, happy you liked it!

  • Hello, I am just wondering, and I mean no disrespect, but what is it you are doing with your face while you are playing? Thanks for the beautiful music!

  • Hi, and thank you for feedback.

It's a sort of "stopped" singing.....

I know it's not the maximum of elegance, but it's my natural behaviour....again thank you,

and all the best for you.

  • amazing :P

  • Happy you liked it. Thank you by heart,

    Sandro

  • Wonderful piece & gorgeous playing ! Also the piano sounds so full and balanced. What kind is it ?

  • Very kind, thank you!

Happy you like this piano, I too find it very good and I'm satisfied. It's a "Rieger Kloss", the same as "Bohemia", czech made piano (IMHO very better than Petrof). Model "Janacek", 1,90 long. I preferred it to Yamaha and Kawai models in the same price range.

  • Merci beaucoup. Avec cette nom......you can tell me everything. And I think you are right

a bout the "exagerations". It's my style, I prefer to tell a word in excess than to risk

to not be comunicative. But this can be liked or not with the same good reasons.

Again thank you for your interesting comment.

  • I love this! It's so beautiful, thank you Sandro! I've listened to the other file too and the sound is gorgeous.

  • Very kind xAmandine, thank you.

    All the best.

  • Too much kind, thank you!!

  • I'm a Chinese student studying science and I love piano music so much, especially Chopin, Bach,Scriabin and Alkan's music. While there's nowhere to buy scriabin's complete piano works (CD)in China. Thanks to your excellent performance, I 've felt the implicit(or reserved) beauty of Scriabin, which gave me exquisite pleasure! Also hope that you will try to play the polonaise and Op.12 NO.1 of Scriabin!

  • Thank you! Really great thing the human quality and quantity of passion, work and results from your land in classic piano.

Piano now survives because your, I repeat,

    quantity and quality. Scriabin.....only:

Know the Vladimir Sofronitzky recordings, his

pianism is amazing and there are (also here on

yt) tons of his Scriabin /he married the daughter of him) recordings. All the best for you and again thank you for your attention and your so kind words.

  • Thank you for your excellent performance!I am a Chinese student, and what I am studying is science. But I LOVE piano music so much, especially Chopin,Scriabin,Bach and Alkan's works.Unfortunately, there's nowhere to buy Scriabin's complete piano music(CD) in China(or just found some etudes and sonatas). After listening to your performance, I got exquisite pleasure.

  • suoni anche opere tarde di scriabin? ( 58-74 )

  • Qualcosa.

  • Fantastic playing.

  • Too much kind, mikejunior80, thank you by heart.

  • This is one of my favourite pieces of music and I love the way you play it - love the way you play everything in fact; I am a fan... LaValse...

  • Thank you by heart. You are very kind and I'm really happy you liked this and other my videos. I hope, also in the future, to upload something interesting/funny for your taste.

    All the best.

Quindi,

un invito a nozze per me.

  • Bravo! I believe you know how much I love Scriabin. I believe he was a great master composer with spectacular creativity.

I enjoy all of your videos. I hope you continue to make many more. You are indeed very talented.

    John Robson

  • So happy to read your words, really!

Thank you by heart, yes I know how much you like and comprehend Scriabin, and also becaude this I'm happy to read your so kind words.

  • Very nice as always :)

    Beautiful piece, rarely played.

It seems that you are a fan of scriabin's early works !

    Very nice, thanks

Ps: it would be great if you post prelude op 27 n°1 by Scriabin.

  • First of all thank you.

You are right, I'm a fan of Scriabin early works (up to the 3rd Sonata), but I like (only a little less) all

Scriabin and he is among my favourite 2-3 composers of 20th century, if not the first.

Again thank you also for the suggested prelude

(wonderful, when I'll play it decently I'll upload).

  • Thank you for playing this piece!

  • To find valid images/colours to link this...

as difficult as to play decently (as I hope to do) this music.

Thank you 620200721, you are very kind.

  • You play this piece wonderful and you have a beautiful touch! I really enjoyed listening to your performance.

I noticed you also have a lot of face expressions. Do they come naturally while you're playing?

    Keep up the good work!

  • Happy you liked my touch (but I'm satisfied of

piano and mics., both them are important), and thank you for attention and very kind words. I hope you'll enjoy other my videos.

    The expressions, the "body language"...

yes, I play ever so (..mmm, not when I study technical excercise). I'm the first to know it

can be disturbing, but I think to need this freedom of gesture and expression, feeling myself more near to the emotional contents.

Again thank you, and all best.

  • Really a fascinating piece. Scriabin was also able to see the connections between colours and music and the harmony of the planets. So he was one of the greatest musicians, I think.

And your interpretation is as usual very deep, plastic and profound. Thank you for sharing this great record!

  • IMHO opinion Scriabin is among the 2-3 most important composers of the XIX century.

In this piece, I was amazed by Sofronitky version, and I loved this impromptu (and the 14-2 I hope to record soon) when I heard his

    recording.

Thank you musicusblau for your kind and precious words.

  • Thank you so much for sharing this with us! This is a such a lovely piece... haunting, mysterious, sad... this could really be the precursor to the grand "Mysterium" that he was planning...

This was an AMAZING performance, and one that I must come back to listen to day after day. Thank you so much for posting it!

  • thank you demonicadvent, very kind.

Among the many interesting things here, there is the systematic and written anticipation of the bass respect the melody

  • To be able to play a work like this is a great achievement. Surely, you are one of my favorite pianists both on youtube, and pianosociety. I'm glad to see that there are still people out there who know how to play with emotion, and not just their brains!

  • wonderful piece (I didn't know it) and wonderful playing!

  • Thank you kpunkt, very kind, and happy you liked it.
