It is very odd to re-watch this with hindsight. Pantani is not only on EPO, he is physically dependant on it, Ullrich later has to retire out of embarrassment before he got caught. And a year later Virenque would be in tears and disgrace.

Meanwhile poor old Chris Boardman is doing it clean and going home in an ambulance.
