i have onw like this, its a good kit but the orriginal cymbal was piece of shit. i change it for sabian B8 serie, and it was superb. i play somme metal whit it and i dont have any problems and the sonority is perfect!

cb drums are actually alright. it was my first kit and i liked it. the only thing that i hate about it is the cymbals there shit. but on a mark out of 10 i would give them 6.

thi set isnt bad...but its the best for starters...quite honestly the set itself is decent.

My first set was a CB. but i made it sound good. Got new skins Batter 7 resonant side on all peices, got new cymbals and got a new kick pedal andf guess what it sounded good,

Yes it will never sound like a Pearl, tama, ludwig or Dw but its better than other started kits...have you ever heard of Barron? now thats a shit set lol

I wasn't perfect, or at a slightly shitty level (like yourself) CB drums are a great starter set. Why would a guy spend $2000 on a Pearl set and figure out he hates drums?

yeahh heres my advice.i got 4 new cymbals, a 16 inch crash,18 inch crahs,20 inch ride and a new high hat.get htose and it sounds sooo good,and sounds like a professional set(i use zildjian cymbals btw)

I have had this kit for like 4 weeks now. Its great but i recomend pillows in bass drum , New cymbals and new snare head the toms sound fine to me although the heads are all ready starting to go. My snare head went quickly so i got a new head put on. Oh i would also recommend buying studio rings for em makes em sound alot cleaner and punnchy.

@PineappleBobTheGreat : If you are new to drums this set is absoletley elite for you! When I first got it I felt bad because I never did really like drums and I thought my parents went out and bought this awesome set. CB is lower in line but with proper tuning and playing its sounds great!

the evans ec2 clears are 12 to 24 bucks depening on size.14 inch black suede is 16 bucks. and the 22 inch aquarian super kick 2 is 42 bucks

replace your tom heads with either evans ec2 clear heads or remo coated emperors. your snare with either evans genere hd dry batter or remo black suede and your bass drum with an aquarian super kick 2 but nice tuning with those cheap stock heads

if you have acess to a guitar center check there but most music stores have them oh and there high quality heads so you might have to pay a good price but after i played them i believe they can make any drumset sound 10 times beter oh and one thing before buying tom heads buy only one and see how you like it
