Also did not realize this was Howie at first - and I've been listening to him for years. Absolutely love this song, and glad to hear it's getting noticed as he is extremely talented and most of his radio hits do not do him justice. Glad to see he's all grown up :)
heard this song at work a few times and it grew on me. didn't know who it was till i looked it up. don't even really like howie day but i like this song. and i don't understand why some people take the time to look up a song/video just to say how much they hate it. that, to me, is a waste of time.
@chained2darren Same here! I work at Publix, and it got stuck in my head one day and I decided to look it up. I absolutely fell in love with it! This is such a beautiful song.
@chained2darren Same here! (Except I do like Howie Day now =P) I work at Publix, and it got stuck in my head one day and I decided to look it up. I absolutely fell in love with it! This is such a beautiful song.
If you don't like the song; don't say anything. Not everyone's an arrogant fucktard, BehindCurtainsClosin. Next time, keep your mouth shut if you don't like something. Stop seeking attention.
The song comes on on the radio at work sometimes. I hate it. The rhyme scheme is terrible; he adheres to the uninspired scehme in all the wrong places, and then breaks it when it doesn't make any sense to. On top of that the drumbeat is blatantly ripped off of Radiohead's Reckoner. This song is a monumental waste form start to finish.
Now, I like this song a lot, simply because I relate to it, but I always thought that drum pattern seemed familiar! You're absolutely right, it's totally Reckoner.
