  • right on man, thanks for the tips!

  • Insanely helpful, "Right Shape, RIght Color, Right Value" Had to listen to that twice. Thanks.

  • yap. He is my Idol

  • Very funny and awesome lesson! thanks

  • Did he use oil medium or Liquin medium for mix the paint??

  • @alexcostacurta no probably not alla prima ( wet on wet) painting is a painting done in one sitting Liquin is a

a way to cause paint to dry a little quicker but it would still take more than one sitting to properly dry for another layer of paint

  • is this tutorial available for purchase anymore? i've wanted to buy it since the $7.99 sale started

  • not for sale anymore?

  • Great use of color! Great painting, Malicious this isn't an "exact copy" and camera never come close to that of a well done painting. The credentials are in the "painting"not in what museum show you got into this month. It's about the painting. It's always about the painting.

  • i love d style and how he paints......wow

  • The model is a clone of singer Lionel Richie.

  • What are the little white dots on the canvas that you see starting at 1:34 until 3:02? What purpose do they serve and how do you create them? Thanx:0)

  • that wasn't the color of the model, bat bat bat, you just want publicity

pour dude you need more that 12 years to paint well ))))

  • @painternyc1977 I see no link to your works, or any credentials whatsoever. You sir are no authority on painting. In oterh words, go fuck yourself, and have a rather unpleasant day. Pinche pendejo.

  • @painternyc1977 if you want an exact copy, go use a camera

  • The portrait totally doesnt look like the model.

  • very good' am very well informed by ur study'thx

  • Very cool Thanks alot

    Much respect

    PEACE

    Good luck

  • As a painter, I don't think I've seen a better encapsulation of what it means to "get a likeness" than your take on that masked shaped area of the face. You are right on my good fellow! I would only extend it down a bit to include the upper lip as one of those very key elements. ;)

  • coro i love you!!

  • Yeah well said, keep it simple.

  • it looks easy to do. but i did once and i know.

but for something completely difference... you look Tired my man, how come? G'd luck.

  • I bought this and loved it....MB should do more traditional style downloads, like this one and the marko character design one. It always seems to get to me quicker when I can see their actual hand moving and not just a cursor on a photoshop screen.

  • i love this man
