Great use of color! Great painting, Malicious this isn't an "exact copy" and camera never come close to that of a well done painting. The credentials are in the "painting"not in what museum show you got into this month. It's about the painting. It's always about the painting.
What are the little white dots on the canvas that you see starting at 1:34 until 3:02? What purpose do they serve and how do you create them? Thanx:0)
@painternyc1977 I see no link to your works, or any credentials whatsoever. You sir are no authority on painting. In oterh words, go fuck yourself, and have a rather unpleasant day. Pinche pendejo.
As a painter, I don't think I've seen a better encapsulation of what it means to "get a likeness" than your take on that masked shaped area of the face. You are right on my good fellow! I would only extend it down a bit to include the upper lip as one of those very key elements. ;)
I bought this and loved it....MB should do more traditional style downloads, like this one and the marko character design one. It always seems to get to me quicker when I can see their actual hand moving and not just a cursor on a photoshop screen.
right on man, thanks for the tips!

Did he use oil medium or Liquin medium for mix the paint??
alexcostacurta 4 months ago
@alexcostacurta no probably not alla prima ( wet on wet) painting is a painting done in one sitting Liquin is a
a way to cause paint to dry a little quicker but it would still take more than one sitting to properly dry for another layer of paint

Wonderful. I have a few questions, if you'd be kind:
What would be a good way/method to prime canvas, in such a way that it would ake it less absorbent, and more smooth?
Also, what colors do you typically have on your pallete?
Greens, reds, and bues, specifically.
Also, do you use any black?
Thanks!
Again, very smoothly executed.
