  • reminds me of white knight chronicles for ps3 lol

  • Great review! Was very informative and professional. I'm so glad the Wii's getting some love!

  • @yutao1 Do what any self respecting gamer would do, get both! ive got both and they are both incredible rpgs. xenoblade probably inchs it for me,but last story is groundedin realism and imo is what ff12 should have been,a very personal very epic story

  • 7:57 Infinite Sanvich....OP as hell

  • The Lost Story has multiplayer

But Xenoblade Chronicles is open world

    ...

    So hard to choose one....

  • @yutao1 It's important to keep in mind that it's "semi-open world." The world slowly opens up more and more, and by the end of the game you'll be able to travel anywhere in the game at nearly anytime. But, the good news is that as you unlock each part of the game, you are free to go back to them and explore and find new areas, monsters, items, and collectables.

While not open-world in the Skyrim sense, it's far more open-world than the majority of JRPGs I've played.

  • Its Coming to the U.S. in April

  • every jrpg needs to be localised in the UK from now on, no more whiny american accents, (no offence, its just the actors chosen)

it would be cool for the next final fantasy to get the same treatment (even though versus XIII is clearly set in a american style city it would work so well with British actors, somehow)

  • @ThatLostNoob94 Based on this game, I must agree -- the voice acting is much better than any other JRPG I've heard. It's better than any of the US or Japanese localizations I've heard thus far -- from ANY other JRPG. Better than the FF series games, too.

  • Why am i never informed about games like this.

  • @supporteedcoffee cuz u live under a rock? lol jk

  • Two things still hold me back from buying it: the character faces remind me of muppets because of the low res and the fact that the eyes seem part of the skin rather than more shiny separate balls, and the interface seems so chaotic and cluttered. I've pre-ordered the Last Story, but this is still a tough decision.

  • @morbozim Your first complaint is about the graphics. This is a Wii game, it's not HD. The graphics are amazing in the scope, not in the details. I'm just not that into graphics as a factor in games, unless they are sufficiently bad to affect the experience.

The interface didn't feel cluttered to me at all. I can see why you'd think that, but it really had no negative affect on my gameplay. I'd still recommend picking this up. The Last Story disappointed me greatly.

  • @FoxeoGames well, I know it's wii so the graphics will have to benefit from art style rather than sharpness and super detail, but the colors used, the menu look and cartoony style just make it look a bit like a messy mix to me. That and the Muppet faces. Still, I might still get it, but the most convincing arguments go on and on about the fight system, while story is what I look for. I know I know, no spoilers, but still. Why did the Last Story disappoint?

  • @morbozim I must admit I only made it about two hours into The Last Story, and it was of course the Japanese version. I found the story uninteresting, the characters dull, and the combat system a bit too action-oriented. It just felt like a third-rate RPG title. You know, when you get one of those RPG games from some "off-brand" company and it feels less than what it should be.

Xenoblade's story & character development is definitely top-notch. Don't pass this one up!

  • @FoxeoGames lol you compared a lot of this game to WoW -_-

  • @FoxeoGames I'll look into it after I dig in to The Last Story, the price of Xenoblade is still dropping. The pacing of TLS may be purposefully slow at the start. Check out this article

  • Can't wait for April 6th! This review has me salivating.

  • thumbs up for a sequel on the wii u

  • girl watches this great review...girl decides to hold on to her Wii system just a bit longer :)

  • Can this be played without any form of motion control?

  • @Vamphaery Yes, you can play the game with the Classic Controller. I haven't seen a single motion control element in this game, and I'm over 50 hours in.

  • @FoxeoGames Thank god!!!

  • @Vamphaery Xenoblade doesn't contain motion control, I'm done with the whole game :) it's 1 of the best rpg games (my opinion)

  • Ahh, April is way too long for me. D:

  • I must say great review, I hate when reviewers compare this game or any JRPG to any western release and never talk about why or how they compare the 2, but you definetly do it right talking about the aspects and go in depth in how they are and aren't in their respective ways. Keep up the good woork. Subscribed+

  • I'm not even a JRPG fan, but this looks promising. Incredible review...you occasionally do PC stuff, so you have a new subscriber my friend.

  • I can't wait, I'm buying a wii just too play this game >.<

  • does this game has online?

  • this to me reminds more of the Tales series than any other game. I find it odd you didnt compare it to them.

  • Although it's only fair that this great game comes to the US, I think it's about time the UK had a big RPG release first for a change.

I have lost count of the imports I have had to do, so I can play some games months before their release here, or if ever released here.

  • Better than Chrono Trigger, FF7, 8, and SO2? No way. The nostalgia factor overcomes all. But I'm sure I'll enjoy Xenoblade- I like almost every JRPG I've ever played :)

  • @BCBtheBeastlyBeast Nostalgia has a way of making things seem much better, and enhances the memories. It's hard to truly compare, but it's at least on par with games like Chrono Trigger and FF3 (6). And are you seriously listing FF8 as if it were good? That game was the beginning of the end of my interest in FF.

  • @FoxeoGames In hindsight, it's not just the nostalgia factor, but the complete mastery of the games (knowing where everything is). It makes it more fun knowing you're powning a broken game without the use of glitches. How much nostalgia distorts your view of a game is debatable. I played many games as a child, but only a few stuck with me- because I genuinely liked them more than the others. Even if I convinced myself that something were better than FF8, FF8 would be more playable- nostalgia.

  • @FoxeoGames That's not to say Final Fantasy hasn't gotten worse over time. Call me easy to please, but I like 9, 10, and 12 as well. I mean, they don't even come close to 7 or 8 for me, but I like them all for mostly the same reasons- the combat, story, music, and amount of secret content and masterability... my friend used to be a 7 fanatic and would barely give 8 a chance when he was younger. I made him try it again and now he likes 8 more in almost every way. Sometimes you need to try again.

  • @BCBtheBeastlyBeast I purchased FF8 for the PS1, tried it several times, made it at least 25% through... then I purchased it for the PC, tried it again.. made it about as far. I've revisited the game several times, but I just can't stand it. Google "Spoony Final Fantasy viii" for his review that talks about everything that I found wrong with the game. He's obviously overdoing some of the criticism, but it's very enjoyable to watch.

  • @FoxeoGames Well I've heard it wasn't as good on PC, so that's definitely not the way you'd want to revisit it. On to Spoony- I'm going watch his whole review and get back to you. So far he makes some really good points that I hadn't even thought about (the opening trailer stuff for example) and he's pretty funny. Now it seems like he's kinda just harping on every little thing in the game because it's not exactly the way he wants it. Watching now...

  • @FoxeoGames Ok, I'm not watching the rest because I don't need to. First off, he doesn't know how to play the game and he exaggerates how complicated the game is. I understood how to play when I was 10 years old. He has no excuse, unless he's retarded. I wrote so many notes about the video I don't even know how to continue. Ok, how he plays the game wrong. He draws magic from enemies unnecessarily for a couple reasons- continued...

  • @BCBtheBeastlyBeast Watch the rest for the criticisms of the story. FF8's story is positively AWFUL. It's HORRENDOUS. He'll show why in more ways than one.

  • @FoxeoGames he thinks you need 100 of each magic spell just to be competitive and he thinks it's the only way he can get magic. You can have less than 20 of just a couple spells to be more than capable of killing enemies, and you can get magic through item and card refinement (he hates the card game for no reason, so it's no wonder he's oblivious to how both of these are 100 times more effective than drawing, ESPECIALLY for getting high-level magic early). continued...

  • @FoxeoGames He says that you need 100 of every magic spell conceivable... ah, good stuff. Sorry, I was laughing. As I said before, you can get by with less than 100 TOTAL magic. A lot of stuff he has against the game are personal (not liking the story, characters, and design), so I won't get into that. I will say the story is epic, and that it doesn't have to make sense in reality- it's Final Fantasy after all. Anyways, "gunblade timing puzzle". I am just dumbfounded. continued...

  • @FoxeoGames You press the trigger when you slash to deal a lot more damage. It seems that's his trend on this game- making things seem more complicated than they really are. Can't skip GF animations? Let's ignore the fact that you don't really need GFs to win any battle in this game. There is an option to turn off the animations in the Config. menu. It's clear he didn't even try to get into this game- it's all just "I can't play it right so it sucks". continued...

  • @FoxeoGames Anyways, they tell you to use the gunblade trigger for a reason- it really is that much more powerful, and it's faster than using GFs. You don't need GFs in combat. You need them for abilities. He says leveling your characters, GFs, and getting money is cumbersome. Leveling characters is cumbersome? ...I don't get it. GF leveling and AP cumbersome? If he actually explored the game and paid attention, he'd know that you can get 6 AP a battle just by beating enemies on the beach. c..

  • @FoxeoGames And why he needs money is beyond me. In my many playthroughs of the game, I've barely bought anything, and I've always had enough money... Honestly. It's clear he just hates the game because of it's characters, story, and design (which I actually like- I even acknowledge it's faults. Nevertheless, it doesn't keep me from enjoying the game), so he doesn't like anything else about it by default because at that point he's just being critical and irrational. continued...

  • @FoxeoGames There is SO much depth in this game that he's missing, it's sad. Hidden cards, draw-points, locations, weapons, enemies, GFs... if only he cared enough to dig deeper, he might not hate the game. Maybe he'd even enjoy it. Square-Enix tried something new with FF8 and the general public became divided on it. Reviewers however looked at it with an objective perspective like they're supposed to and most of them liked it- just go to gamerankings. com and see for yourself. Thx for reading!

  • @BCBtheBeastlyBeast I can't deny that it received universal praise and acclaim. I also can't deny that it has quite possibly one of the WORST stories in a JRPG. It has a fantastic delivery, but it's like a really great delivery of a really bad joke; ultimately, it's just not funny.

  • @FoxeoGames So what exactly is so bad about the story? The translation is good and the characters are somewhat likable.

  • @BCBtheBeastlyBeast The characters are awful. I might be misspelling names, but Sophie is an annoying, brainless ditz. Siepher is a transparent good guy going bad. Dincht is a male bimbo. Squall is an overly stereotyped teenage-angst emo-type. Quistis is shameless sex appeal.

  • @FoxeoGames ...and the problem is? Selphie is brainless..? How? Seifer is asshole- that's why I like him. He's no Sephiroth, but then again, he isn't the main villain (which is Ultimacia. It's a shame that she's only introduced later in the game). Zell is hilariously goofy and out of place. He's one of my favorite characters because he always has the most entertaining things to say. So what if Squall is stereotypical? Emo-types obviously turn you off (although I don't really think he's emo).

  • @FoxeoGames And you're bashing shameless sex appeal? Regardless, she's an interesting character in my opinion.

  • @BCBtheBeastlyBeast Sorry, forgot to mention the story. Not to harp on a game you clearly indicate you like and hold dear, but the story has more holes than swiss cheese. Seriously, if you watch all of Spoony's rants, he only covers some of the plot holes and literary mishaps that litter the game's story from beginning to end. Plot twists with NO viable explanation. Weak motives. Deus ex machina galore.

  • @FoxeoGames I don't really mind if you harp on the story- it's not what makes the game great in my eyes. It's the gameplay elements, CGI cut-scenes, set-pieces, music, and characters that matter most to me. Story hasn't ever really mattered much to me. I start with the gameplay, and if I like it, it's hard for me to find many other faults with the game because I'm more focused on having fun. That's not to say I don't like a good story, but if the gameplay doesn't work for me, I won't play it.

  • final fantasy versus wil own this shit!! for sure!!!!

  • @KellarJS I understand that's your opinion... my opinion is that FF Versus wouldn't be worthy to be kept on the same shelf, but that's me :)

  • @FoxeoGames Only time will tell ;) I want the old playstation ATB battles back though :(

  • @KellarJS The final fantasy series died a long time ago...

  • @FroggyQC23 While I *was* a HUGE fan of the FF series, I must admit, since FF8, the series has been in a very steep and steady decline. I never played 9 but heard it was decent, and every game since has been an enormous disappointment.

  • @FoxeoGames Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I like 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12. Never played 13- fellow FF fanatic friend told me it just wasn't FF, so I haven't bothered. 8 is my favorite btw, but I LOVE 7, 8, and 9. Give me that overworld map, freedom, and secrets any day. I wish they would go back to random encounters and prerendered backgrounds, but at least we're going to get a true traversable world map in Versus 13. I'll have to get it just because of that- hidden locations FTW!

  • He's clearly pretending to eat that sammich to spare her feelings.

  • how does this compare to final fantasy 12 which was like an MMO

  • @artnos MUCH, MUCH better IMO. It blows FF12 out of the water if you ask me.

  • USA USA USA

  • @Porrameneitor It's been announced for the US!

  • REJOICE!! NOA IS BRINGING THIS HERE!!!!

  • Good review. Yes, the voice acting IS good. I love the British voice acting too. It seems so suiting for these characters too, but I could play it with the Japanese voices too. I love it either way, and since I can play PAL games, I will just appreciate this wonderful game as it is. I do hope it will come here for all to play as it is certainly worth every penny!

  • I don't get why this is on the wii. I would love to play this game and if it was released to America I might buy a wii.

  • @ltrizzle84 Because Nintendo owns the rights?

  • @ltrizzle84 In America in Spring.

  • Great review, much more informative than that IGN one. :)

  • Mad good review. I really hope this comes to America.

  • I recommend Japanese voices with subtitles, sounds way more epic.

  • @mattpryor216 I can understand most of the Japanese they're speaking, and for me it just doesn't sound as good as the UK dubbing. And yes, I call it UK dubbing because although it's the European version, it's all in English with various English accents.

    I hope the American voice-acting doesn't disappoint.

  • Your video randomly came up above IGN so thought I'd give it a chance. Didn't regret it :) good review man.

  • @LifeOfCraig IGN = IGNnorant seriously they are soooo biased to shooting games just look at COD they always score so high even though the offline is repetitive and online community is full of kids and douche bags

  • just recently ordered this game...it will be a great warm-up to skyward sword and sonic generations :D

  • great review man and the game looks awesome. Definitly gonna pick this gem up for sure.

  • what i really find annyoing is talking to every single person like 100 times !!

  • @TheNinteno I'm not sure what you mean... why do you talk to everyone "100 times?"

I did notice that there are several "quest hub" individuals who will have like 4 quests, so you end up having to talk to these handful of individuals several times in a row. Other than that, I don't know why you feel the need to talk to everyone multiple times.

  • im not far in this game i cant be bothered to win it 100

  • good thing you didnt spoil anything for me.

  • not coming to us????well FU*K YOU monolith!!! YOU CAN BURN THE GAME AND PLAY IT ON NEOGAMMA ......see monoliht u dumb fukers.. ur gonna miss out on my 40$ and im still gonna play the game...so FU*K YOU AGAIN MONOLITH!

  • instead of releasing this for the wii in america they should release it in america BUT for the wii u at launch

  • Being an RPG fan there is one thing I really want to see and hope we will see soon. And that's a North American release of this game as it will be a huge disappointment if they don't make one

  • @peddle1993 The biggest issue I see is that people will not expect this kind of game on the Wii, and the audience for this game is primarily playing games on Xbox 360 and PS3. However, any serious gamer has picked up a Wii because of the sheer number of top-notch exclusives, and this is unquestionably one of the best exclusives on any platform. If people knew what they were missing, it could very well be a system-seller.

  • @FoxeoGames Buying Wii tomorrow (for skyward sword soon) and definitely importing this eventually.

  • @FoxeoGames Although you said this game was great their are a few problems that I caught, first this looks a lot like final fantasy XII, not that their is anything wrong with it being like ff12 but ff12 is one of the worst final fantasy games, not that it is a bad game but it is bad to hold the ff title. Second like in ff13 i noticed that you get all your hp back after beating a random battle which I have to say is stupid because that takes a lot of the challenge out of the game.

  • @mogiethefirst I'm confused as to why you say that it's bad because it "looks like" FFXII. If you actually play both games, Xenoblade Chronicles is quite a bit different. A lot of people also enjoyed FFXII, though I can honestly say I haven't played more than an hour of it.

Getting your HP back is actually a bonus, because it speeds up the game and eliminates the need to "slow down" and have to heal up after battles. No inns to visit, no potions to stock up on. You can go from battle to battle

  • @peddle1993 XENOBLADE IS COMING TO US!

  • I haven't played FFXIII but I have seen an LP of it and I really like characters and graphics as well. The narrow hallways, lack of towns, and some other stuff that I liked in the other games that wasn't present in that one I wasn't so keen on when I heard about it but I really think people will like 13-2 more

  • @FoxeoGames

M4xi was commenting on how you were mispronouncing consoles as 'councils'

whateves awesome review. im australian and i was like the only person in my area who was actually hyped for this game. im liking it much more than ff12 :)

  • @Arctick93 You say you're from Australia, and I imagine the other user was from another country other than the US. I think this might be a regional thing, because I hear this pronunciation all the time from a variety of sources.

I think we'd also disagree on the pronunciation of the word "day" :)

  • im so glad i ordered this should drop in me mail this week woo-hay finally wii game that is totally worth the money

  • The battle system is somewhat similar to Star Ocean 3's. I love it. :)

  • Lets not forget Tales of symphonia 1 and 2 are both really really great

  • Hello, both of your reviews were very good. I was on the brink of potentially buying it but because you looked at the same qualities and the things that matter to me in a game you gave me the push to purchase it tonight. Played a couple of hours and looks very promising so far, the edition I got came with a bonus soundtrack disc as well. Excellent review.

  • @swiftstylez Glad you liked it and that it helped you out. This is a game that deserves to be played by gamers everywhere. Masterpieces like this come along once in a great while. While no game is perfect, this is everything I love in a and a game and could possibly expect a single JRPG to have.

  • monster hunter is still high class.... I WANT THAT FRONTIER HERE IN US!!

  • @Nicebwbs If you are willing to settle for a more JRPG-oriented version of a game similar to Monster Hunter, Xenoblade Chronicles might be something for you. It is an entirely different type of game, however.

  • @FoxeoGames YO! I would love this game if I have it. It's like most of the MMORPG that I played. I haven't played WOW for the fact that I am asian. MMOs like Ragnarok, Cabal, Flyff, Gunbound, and other MMOs were my thing so this is too I BET!! sigh... you so lucky to play this. At least Monster Hunter 3rd will be out in December. HAHA!

  • foxeo which game in your opinion is better this one or the last story? because i cant decide which one to get

  • @ronvnkl232 I've only played about an hour into The Last Story, but I can tell you that while it's too early to judge, I was very much unimpressed with it. I'd definitely recommend Xenoblade Chronicles.

  • @FoxeoGames thank you very much for your opinion because i almost got the last story because of the online feature but according to some videos i watched the combat system isnt that great so thanx again and great video

  • u capture all my thought to every simple word i'm currently playing and lovine every moment

  • And now it's out in Europe, hehe.

  • @megajew1993 Technically, Xenoblade Chronicles is currently ONLY out in Europe. The Japanese version is simply titled "Xenoblade."

I hope it does come to the US, but until then, I'm just as happy with my UK import. I think the voice acting is great, although I have to get used to a few different phrases and words.

  • I heard that monolith said if the game sells good in the U.K than they "MIGHT" bring it to the USA.

  • @aOdandyOeye

I'm not sure where you heard this, because monolith has no control over it coming to the US if Nintendo of America refuses to localize it.

  • @DevilishMew As far as I'm aware, there has not been ANY official word on whether or not it will be brought to the US. There are vague statements and some thoughts from the developers, but nothing definitive.

  • best japanese rpg since secret of mana

  • @mkocja5a I feel like this game is a great "evolution" of games like Secret of Mana. We've been missing a truly good, real-time action RPG. I can't help but compare this game to Xenogears and the Xenosaga series. Once I complete Xenoblade Chronicles I'll have more to say about it, but it's a real competition right now for the most epic storyline: Xenogears versus Xenoblade Chronicles.

  • Councils?.......Nice review otherwise.

Got this game on Dolphin running at 1080p, it looks absolutely awesome

  • @N4xi I don't understand what you mean by "councils."

  • @N4xi fuck dolphin

  • @N4xi Surprisingly, the game doesn't look all that much better on Dolphin even at 1080p. Might have something to do with the video encoding people are using to upload, or the emulator poorly up-scaling. At any rate, it's hard to make a 480p game look great in comparison to full HD games, particularly on a computer.

Of course, it goes without saying, but while I am NOT opposed to emulators by any means, I 100% support purchasing games still on the market.

  • I think because I am in PAL territory, I will be able to get this game once when I am able to finish university at the end of the year.

the reason is because of my exams and I want to pass my exams because I am doing Game Design and 3D Animation.

My fav Japanese RPG is Skies of Arcadia that was for the Dreamcast and I got the port of it on the Gamecube.

Also played Chrono Trigger and that was also fantastic. I would like to play Xenoblade to see if it also becomes as good as my fav 2 JRPGs

  • Yay finally a EU only game! I'm tired of buying US consoles for all the damn US only games >_>

  • Great review. Not too many reviews around since it's not out in the U.S., I guess. Ordered my copy of the game and can't wait to get to play it.

  • does it have a US release?

  • @MrRockion No. Read the video description for more information.

  • @FoxeoGames but why?,,, i hope they might release it anytime soon

  • What is Nintendo's problem? I want to buy this, but they wont let me. I am starting to hate their company. Certainly not buying a Wii U. They can rot in hell for not wanting my money

  • @gabetorresx If European/Australian gamers had stopped buying Nintendo products just because they didn't get PAL releases, Nintendo would have probably died (or at least been in much trouble) years ago. I don't get why Americans/Canadians are making such a big fuss over something like this, especially given how easy and relatively cheap it is to import nowadays. That said, I also think that Nintendo is making very poor marketing choices at the moment (I'm thinking about all that 3DS shite).

  • I'm really looking forward to getting myself Xenoblade Chronicles now. Foxeo, if you're not afraid to go back to your PS2, I'd recommend Persona 4. It's another JRPG which I think is absolutely phenomenal. It's a bit old-school and it's not afraid to suck you into cutscenes and the battle system is turn-based, but right now, it's personally my favourite JRPG of all time.

  • @SwiftxFlame I just bought an American PS2, so I've been hitting up GameStop's for games. If they're still doing the 2 for 2 deal for used PS2 games, I might try to pick it up. Unfortunately a lot of PS2 games still sell for high prices and I'd rather not pay much at this point.

  • I'm gonna get it tomorrow here in Italy and I'm very excited about it. I doubt it will be better than Tales Of Vesperia but who knows, maybe I'm wrong. I've ordered the Collector's Edition I love the Box

  • @Novecento I played Tales of Vesperia and did not like it, so I can easily say that Xenoblade Chronicles is "better" to me. But then, I typically haven't liked any of the Tales games.

  • @FoxeoGames The video where you show the voice dialogue between the girl and the hero is what convinced me to order the game today instantly :D I hope it will be better or at least at the same level, I'm the type of guy who plays for the story not for grinding and finding treasures so I really hope its story will be good enough!

  • @Novecento To be honest, I felt like I could have chosen several better examples of the excellent voice acting and story... but I chose that scene for two reasons: 1) it was the first lengthy cutscene I found while scrubbing through video, and 2) it didn't require any background knowledge or awareness of what happened previously in the story.

I don't think you'll be disappointed at all, but once you play it let me know!

  • @FoxeoGames And you chose it man! Even though you don't know anything anout the story, you can already feel the light-hearted characterization of the hero (which I love, I hate Cloud-style type of hero). As soon as I'll play it a bit I'll let you know what I think about this game. Thanks again for you review!

  • an interesting review, a game worth buying, no question.

easily the best RPG of this generation, simply because the others are crap.

i am only at level 40, topping 37 hours of gameplay, but the weakest part so far is the story, who is way below what Tetsuya Takahashi did with Xenogears wonderful story.

the story is too stereotyped and easily predictable.

the combat takes alot of hours of practice to master and the voice comments during fights are too frequent.

  • @HarlockMac I would not be surprised at all if the story cannot compete with Takahashi's masterpiece story, Xenogears. Xenogears was marred by a few issues, not least of which was the funding being cut towards the end of the game and forcing them to slash huge portions of the end of the game. Xenosaga failed miserably to capture the magic of Xenogears atmosphere and story, though they were moderately good games in their own right.

I'll do a "final impressions" video when I finish Xenoblade.

  • Don't know if you only did it wrong in the review, but in battle when this quicktime event appears (for example 4:55) you're supposed to hit the b-button when the shrinking circle matches the smaller circle, or at least when it's inside the smaller circle. Just hitting the b-button as fast as possible (like in the video) does nothing..

  • @ppeters77 yeah, by the time I figured it out, I had already captured most of the video I wanted to use for this review. I appreciate the help though!

  • im soooo buying this!!!!

  • If I import this game from the U.k into the U.S, will I need a european wii?

  • @DirkOfNintendo You'll need either a PAL Wii or a modified Wii. An unmodified North American Wii will not play this game as-is.

  • best jrpg ever relesed??? i gwt that you like this game but thats a bit much

  • @harombee I do clarify that it is of course my opinion, and everyone's opinions differ, but to me Xenoblade is quickly reaching the #1 spot on my top JRPGs list. Most gamers have that one game that just stands out to them for whatever reasons, and Xenoblade is surprising me in ways I never thought a game ever could again. Xenogears held my top spot for over a decade, but that appears to be changing.

  • @FoxeoGames by no means am i bashing you or this game! but there are SO many Jrpgs and Rpgs, thats why i said it was a bit much, not offense on or internet douche baggery intended

  • @harombee no offense taken, I appreciate the comments. Have you had a chance to play this game? I'm curious what other people think of it.

  • @FoxeoGames to be honest no, i am VERY curious about this game tho, i could import a Japanese wii and version of the game (i don't mind the Japanese language, helps me learn) but i don't want to spend the extra money to do so. a friend of mine over xbl told me he enjoyed this game very much, which is what led me to look it up further, he has a great taste in rpgs, such as Magna carta 2 with is a GREAT game that i highly recommend

  • @harombee I've been meaning to pick up Magna Carta 2 but have trouble finding it in stores. Not many places seem to carry it. Might have to go with the internet.

  • @harombee it's pretty close, believe me i've played the jp version long before it was out in eu

  • You use the wiimote and nunchuck together. I'll talk more about the controls in part two

  • Question do use use the wiimote and numchuck or classic mote and how does it handle both?

  • @TheMrMhax I found out that you can use the Classic controller. Both work very well, but the Classic controller makes it much easier to manipulate the camera.

  • @TheMrMhax

I used to play with classic controller first but i felt very restricted during battles because of my disability to move and switch moves simultaneously. with the wiimote and nunchuck i can do both very swiftly. camera manipulation is something just to get used to, it's nothing serious. i've been using wiimote ever since.

  • screw nintendo if they wont bring this game to america. what idiots

  • @crisispoint2098 because americans only play FPS not wii games or RPJs

  • dude this game looks pretty sweet. if it comes out here i'll buy it
