I west to a Johnny Thunder's show early 80's, Peppermint Lounge NYC. Thunders came out on stage and fell over. Smacked out of his head on heroin, they dragged him off stage. 999 had opened and played a second set to cover his _ss.
(Somebody needs to give Johansen a Wheat Thin or somethin'. Eat David...EAT!!!)

Always thought David had Mick's charisma. Saw the Dolls early in their career (70's) at The Coventry on Queens Blvd. Arthur Killer Kane was wasted that night, came out with the band but was replaced by a roadie. Those were the days.

This was a cool show last September, tho they started like 45 minutes EARLY and a lot of people missed them....they still sound great, though!
