How do you all feel about McAfee? I have been using that for a very long time. Comcast provides it for free for me.

Mcafee has been linked to many problems I have seen where programs will not install or internet related issues, it also tends to slow your computer down.

and for really high detection and blocking, use ether, avast or avira anti-virus, comodo or zone alarm firewall (i prefer comodo) and Firefox with web of trust, (WOT)

well what the hell do you use mr expert, avira is one of the best free apps, and nod32 one of the best paid, i used to be a kaspersky fan boy until they made the new one buggy and shit detection!

yeah thats true, you have to be more of a pc geek to go in and tell avira to ignore some alerts.

i don't use Avira anyway im not a moron when it comes to anti-virus i test them my self and i choose MY favorite (nod32)

nod32 is very good

you should use panda cloud with it (its a antivirus that functions via internet)

yea i tried it, don't like it because its detection isn't good, watch mrizos's test with it, it only found 4 out of 10 url threats

Because 7 was designed with netbooks in mind. Most netbooks have the specs to at least run it without any major slowdown and still have Aero.
