Hi, it was edited in Pinnacle Studio 9. Version 15 is out now. It's a fairly affordable non-professional editing software. Very easy-to-use, and great for small projects.
Very powerful! I love the reversing parts. I thought the split screen usage was also very distracting making it all the more effective. I applaud your work! I definitly will learn a lot from you. And will definitly see your other videos.
i really liked the video. the whole split screen thing was hard to watch, trying to keep track of two things going on at the same time. i get how it's supposed to be that way so people can put them together and realize it was two parallel situations, but you could have the same affect by editing it to make it look like a vignette. i dunno, i guess the split screen thing makes it look really unique. :P cool video, high five to you. :)
great history, go deep into the question, like a Schrödinger's cat. sometimes is good to believe that sometimes someones have a second chance...
and I'm not professional in this area but, I really know how is a hard work editing, and all. I always writing in English with so many mistakes, so in the end I give up and let the mistakes just to not have to re-editing again and again and again, like is just a hobby, I guess is not so terrible, I guess.. ehehehhe
The biggest change is that the guy who kills himself, his side starts colour and gradually loses colour as the film goes on to reflect him dying. The other guy's side, his does the opposite, starting black and white and ending up in full colour...
Thanks for the comment. Yeah, the lighting was...well, non-existant. The real experiment was in direction and editing. There are a few subtle differences between the two. The guy who ends up killing himself has gone-off ham and has to throw it away, the same guy also strokes the black cat which could be seen as bad luck, but the other guy doesn't and survives.
what software to edit like this video ??

OKay.
So I dont quite know what to say.
But I liked it.
I like the black cat and the off angles (Eh.. Dutch Tilt???)
However the lighting was a little bung..
Well done, It was certainly intriguing.
