Abdedre or something, my back is the SAME exact shape, I think it has something to do with flexibility, idk but I have NO backproblems being a gymnast. Just because the back is like that, doesn't mean it is a problem, I think your back is just having problems sorry:/

I think you should see a doctor and check her back because it looks to me if she had a hollow-back. That could be dangerous for her discs.

I have one and I now have problems with my discs (I'm 19) just because the doctor didn't diagnose this when I was young, so I just wanted to help Mickayla ;).

Otherwise she has a great talent and difficult skills for her age!

this is an amazingg skill for someone her age(: the only thing iss that she's setting back too far and makes it look like she's about to back handspring, that might've been why she didnt land it solidly the 2nd time. but the 3rd time was the best onee! she's really goood. u must be proud =D

at the time this video was done, she was at Cincinnati Gymnastics. She now goes to Perfection Gymnastics School, her coach is still the man that is shown in the video.

Yes, she is on a pad. They keep pads on to help protect their feet and joints from the repetitive pounding. Even our elites use pads for regular work-outs. Thank you for the nice comments =)

yes, we currently have two elites on the national team and have 3 other young ones that will prob make it next year.

She is going to compete level 7 this season. We don't start unitl Jan. Bars is gonna be rough, but we completely plan on 2 years at level 7.
