  • what about the sugar shack

  • @3asmon They didnt take us down there.

  • I live in mondsville , LMFAOO xD

  • what the fuck at 17 seconds look on the left side 2nd mirror and theres a face in the window!!

  • @ccsfootball12 Im pretty sure someone was actually sitting there.

  • what horrible bullshit 'music' - what psychopath sings this total nonsense garbage?

  • @bobpflueger258 Lordi does if you bothered to read the caption. And if you dont like the music turn it on mute and dont bother to comment. Because I dont care what you like. :)

  • @AndyDogVlog um, yeah. Learn what REAL music sounds like you queef.

  • Good Coverage, Thanks for sharing this with us.. and the music Rocks,,, No Doubt...

  • @TomLumpkins Thank you :)

  • I've never been in the penitentiary, but the funny thing is, i live right in wheeling :) i seriously have my hopes up to go and take a tour and learn about it :)

  • Good video and the music compliments it, making the video even better. Nice work.

  • Thank you. =)

  • btw... the red line wasnt a gun line... they didnt shoot people that went past it. i was there today and the gaurd who guided us told us it was the single file line all inmates walked single file down that line... including us when we took the night tour later that night

  • Thats weird because thats what our guide told us. The booth at the end they said was where a guard could sit with a rifle and it lined up perfectly with the gun line so any time an inmate crossed the line they could fire to protect the guards leading them down. We mustve had different guides. Lol.

  • When we took this tour a year ago, we were told it was a GUN LINE at one point - out of necessity. Perhaps the use of it changed much later. Interesting that guides told us different things.

  • @MerryGoRnd it was a gun line there used to be a guied that took pepole thrugh that used to be a guard there

  • Just went there today and took pics at the cafeteria and got lots of orbs.

  • I didnt get any the time I went. Im jealous.

  • great video bad bad music!!!!

  • Then mute it.

  • This is awesome. I'm going there this Friday!

    It's gonna be awesome.

The tour for me starts at night, x]

  • oh and nice music choice :D lordi for the win

  • ahh... interesting... i'm in 8th grade at the weirton middle school, we're going to the penitentiary for a field trip.

  • Its awesome.

  • from what i hear in the room with paper mache indians, you can hear laughter. the artwork done by an inmate in the cafeteria was done by a color blind man. and another thing is that the prison break drill, theres apparently someone that goes over the wall and disappears and goes over another wall and disappears again....

  • They told us about the colorblind man. They said him and a friend did it. He actually painted and his friend mixed the colors. Pretty awesome if you ask me.

  • My mom worked there from 89 till closing and let me and my brother have a personal tour during the final days. The only times I was scared was when the doors closed behind us. Spookiest rumor I ever heard was that there's a light bulb still burning to this day in Receiving and they lost the keys shortly shutting down the unit.

  • That sucks! That light has to be costing them up to 3$ a day. A locksmith would be a good investment. I want to do a night tour of this place but it's 600$.

  • very nice vid, lookin forward to goin!

  • nothing has changed since the last time I saw it thanks for posting this

  • that was awesome!

the weird thing to me is how alot of the stuff looks pretty new..

  • It was only closed in 1995.

  • Hey remember me?

Im the kid who said they'd lived here all their life but never ever been in here, I went on a tour of this place yesterday!!

  • Howd you like it?

  • i live near by i plan on staying the night there this ummer as a part of a tour

  • When my brother comes back from Iraq he wants us all to go and stay the night. =)

  • i would love to go there even though im 11 lol it would be great

  • amen

  • wow great video! you must of put a lot of time into it!! you did a realy good job.

  • Thanks. =) So glad you enjoyed it!

  • Thank you for another awesome video!! Wonderful photos!

  • Thank you for all the nice compliments ^^

  • Wonderful video! We went on the day tour in Oct 2008 but did not see some of the paintings and things that you got to see! When did you go?

  • It was sometime around late summer or fall. I remember there being loads and loads of rain. And it was easy to miss a lot of the paintings. There was so much to take in. My brother and I kind of drifted from the group a little sometimes we got so distracted. =) Glad you enjoyed the video.

  • i went there for both the regular tour

    and the one for halloween.

it's a prettty freaky place but it's fun.

  • We want to go on the halloween one sometime, at least that is the original plan. Aha.

  • great slideshow. whats the audio track used?

  • Its called It Snows in Hell by Lordi. Its fades back into itself in the middle though to make it long enough. =)

  • i live in moundsville, but never been in there.

  • Id recommend a visit sometime. It was an interesting place. =)

  • that was awesome you did a great job and the music was cool how much and what did you get out of the tour can you tell me please thanks and great job

  • Thank you.

The tour was fantastic. They told so many stories and by the end of it you really appreciate the history there, you can feel it. By the end you definitely have a sense of appreciation for your freedom. Its amazing. I definitely recommend taking a tour!

  • It was pretty neat, I would do it again.

    Have fun on your trip.

  • Thank you. =)

  • Great job, we just got back from the overnight tour.

    Your video was very informational!!

  • Thank you. My family and I want to take an overnight tour when my older brother comes back from overseas. How was it?

  • Another Job well done! I hope we can get some interesting pics/video when we got back to Weston State Hospital tonight!
