  • Patrick Grant seems to be the one with the right attitude, looking for opportunities instead of antagonism.

  • @raizumichin You mean he was being less critical because he's happy Jeffries came to him instead of Henry Poole? Would he be so accommodating if Jeffries wasn't buying from him? I doubt it.

  • @nakedmambo Since he seems to be one of the most forward-thinking shop owners on the row (the later parts of the documentary shows this very well), I could imagine him seeing this as an opportunity to develop both Norton & Sons and the entire Saville Row as a brand even if he didn't get that one prestigious customer. I'm not him so I cant know for sure, but he clearly has a healthy business attitude.

  • It is kind of funny thought that the name Abercrombie & Fitch totally sounds like a Saville Row tailor house....its not but it sounds like it has hundreds of years of tradition.

  • @2003SCT Well they did of sorts. I believe Teddy Roosevelt used to get his outdoors mans clothing from them because back in the day they were known as the elite outfitter for outdoor wear. Unfortunately the real A&F went bankrupt in the 70s and another company bought the name

  • What has Mike Jeffries done to his face? Scary plastic surgery is so NOT Saville Row :)

  • @dangerousmezzo neither is Mike Jeffries

  • @dangerousmezzo and what`s with the FlipFlops at the tailors? Faux pas!!

  • @dangerousmezzo lol... wow thats scary..

  • @dangerousmezzo One must remember, he's an American...

Plastic surgery's not really human either. When he widens his eyes, it's truly frightening.
