  • THNX NICE TUT

  • when i drag it to the background, it says error ?

  • the plane is always black, don't have a commpositing backgrouind box???

  • @MotoooKariiim on comopsting or whatever on the plane uncheck seen on camera and when u pre render it wont be there :D

  • The projection on the copied background needs to be the same as the one on the original image, most likely it's frontal.

  • when you try to remove the plane. When I put the background material n copy it to plane. The plane doesnt go away instead it replaces the black plane with the background

  • How did you do them four screens ?

  • @ReLiCxAbZ click the scroll on ur mouse

  • your mouse is 1 dollar? ;S

  • @CRaNKeDxGaMiiNG well if u said r11 i would have understood, cos r11 doesnt have it, but r11.5 and r12 defiantly should have it, let me guess u downloaded it?

  • @CRaNKeDxGaMiiNG which Cinema 4D do u have

  • how do you resize the plane?

  • @swiix05 u click the edit object button on the far left (3 icons down) it looks like two worlds with arrows.

click on the plane and then click on that button, then once uve done that u click on the resizing button which is right next to the moving arrows (up top left) it looks like a 3d box from the inside and then once uve done that, the red, blue and green arrows on ur plane will change the size of it by moving them

  • THUMBS THIS UP. If you're having trouble with the material showing up on the floor incorrectly make sure you click on that material while it's on the plane, go down to the Attributes(below) and change the Projection to "Frontal"

  • u copy the backgorund material to the plane, but u dont u just paste it from the background to the plane, it doesn't work for me, I have to copy it from the materials box, and the its still there .... please help ..

  • @z0mgmilo0 11.5 is the most popular i think

  • @STEAMProductionz I have a question too, I right clicked the plane, went to cinema 4d tags, checked the compositing background box, and what it does is replaces the plane with the whole picture, not the part that it's over, what am I doing wrong? If you could get back to me that would be great

  • @z0mgmilo0

Simulation - Rigid Body. Look before you ask a stupid question

  • @YourEditors geezus, excuse me for being a rookie, still learning and since steam does tutorials, i thought that ppl r allowed to ask questions so asked 4 help ._.

  • @z0mgmilo0

its made way easier i think its called dynamics tag or sf now got it too :)

  • @z0mgmilo0 idk where to find regid body but I know now that there is soft body

  • @z0mgmilo0 Go to simulation > dynamics > rigid body :)

  • @z0mgmilo0 the rigid body effect is now uner simulation - > Dynamics :) they switch only the position!!

  • @DropIDeadIDesigns thanks :)

  • @z0mgmilo0

Its claled like something dynamic body ..

  • @z0mgmilo0 try going to simulation > dynamics :) there should be the rigid body tag there :)

  • @z0mgmilo0 the new rigid body in cinema 4d r12 can be found on the toolbar at the top under simulation > Dynamics > collider :)

  • @z0mgmilo0 thx for the answers everyone :)

  • @z0mgmilo0 @z0mgmilo0 Rigid Body = Dynamics Body in C4D r12.

I have r12 as well, just watch the little image's in front of the object list mate. they should be the same in the new & old version, but just the name changed and the tab where you can find it in became: Dynamic Tags

now tell me if you could find it..

  • @sTiiWaZz thx 4 the great tip m8

  • QUESTION .. i did everything right for the plane .. but when i render it still shows up, but more transparent ... its still there tho, and pretty visible ..anyhelp?

  • @PaCoR3b3L Did you right click on the plane, click cinema 4D, then compositing and check the box that says compositing background?

  • @STEAMProductionz yea of course .. alright i think i got it .. you should do a tutorial on non linear floors, and how to make it work with the plane ;D

  • @STEAMProductionz Im having the same problem as PaCo , could it be because i have an older version of Cinema 4D? Ive tryed many times and dont everything exactly the same.

  • @l3eserker What cinema 4d do you have?

  • @STEAMProductionz Got same problem.. The planes in my image, shows up a bit more darker than the rest of the image :-(

  • @STEAMProductionz im having the same problem and im using R11.

  • @STEAMProductionz what happens if you dont have the rigid body when you make it "roll down the hill", any suggestions

  • @STEAMProductionz It's not the Product version, I found a solution to this problem. When you apply the material, it's usually on the "tag" tab. In that tab, there is a selection box called "Projection", yours is set to UMV Mapping, set it to frontal. I, too, had this problem, but I looked at STEAM's settings and noticed that mine had UMV Mapping instead of frontal.

  • @l3eserker just look for the little avatars in front of the object list and it might be called Dynamic Body

  • how do you get the four views

  • @PR0FENandMYKUL Click the scroll button. At least that's a hotkey..

  • loving it !
