one of the most enraturing thumris EVER in my opinion...listening to his soulful voice floating through the complex notes of sindhi bhairavi is like gliding over beautiful snow covered peaks and deep green valleys, twists and turns galore, but a feeling of serenity underlying the whole joy ride.his rendering of the 'surs' and even half notes in such a clear and rapid fire motion is an amazing feat of thumri singing. i think of ustaad ji as the 'Taan Sen' post bare ghulam ali khan era. bravo!

In 1968 Khan Sahib was 38 years old. This recording seems to me of 1958, because he did not toured India in 1968. He toured India many times before 1965 or after 1985.
