I like Hiliary Hahn's playing as well as I do Oistrakh's, if not better, and I'm going to purchase a CD of her performance of this concerto as soon as I can find one. What higher recommendation could I possibly give to any violinist than that? This young woman is not only a violinist, but a musician par excellence.

I honestly don't think it's possible for a person to be more talented than her. it's insane how effortlessly she flys through everything, while having perfect tone, rhythm, pitch, everything. she doesn't look like she's ever even phased at all by how hard the parts are.
