@lonkavhobune No it's just bad to listen to bad music. Johnny Cash is pretty awesome. I listen and respect many other genres and bands that aren't metal or even if i don't like the music. I can still respect them as musicians. I guess i can give Disturbed some credit but i won't respect limp bizkit ever.

I don't like them either, but won't say it's bad for others to listen to them. you sound pretentious and misguided. your opinion doesn't decide a standard...that lies within the listener's own personal choice, so saying it's bad to listen to aforementioned bands because you think they're bad is a terrible thing to say.

@1Sky1 well aren't you deep? I respect any genre of music and any musician who is actually a musician and plays music that takes some form of skill. I don't like a lot of them, but I still can respect the musical aspect. As for bands that have no talent, make horrible music, and then make millions of dollars, that i will never respect. That's how i'll always feel. Why should "musicians" be praised if they can't play real music?

Who is a better drummer? The guy from disturbed or inferno from behemoth? obviously inferno. Same goes for the guitars, bass, etc...but to some people, certain styles, even if they take more skill, aren't as appealing. To some, what you listen to doesn't constitute 'real' music. It's all opinion. Black and Folk metal are my favorite genres, others can't stand them. I don't hold it against them, because it's not their thing. I don't belittle their music though.

@pegasuslover97 I don't ask you to respect Limp Bizkit. I just wanted to say that there are different tastes of music. To be honest Limp Bizkit was the first band that brought me into the heavy metal and rock music in general and it did this to many people who are now in theri mid twenties. So Limp Bizkit deserves some respect for that.
