6-26-10 Now I'ma tell you on those right there she know good and well she need straight ice cream cone.As YouTube's legally right to comment you know you need an ice cream cone along with those you showing out in.But how do you feel about this comment.
I've been racking my mind all day to try to remember the brand that popularized this style EARLY 70's...it wasn't Candies? Candies claim to fame was the open toe wooden high heel slide that came out later in the 70's. I'm almost thinking it was Dr Scholl's??
@LadyLegs4U - Mmmm.....totallly! Scholl's made a very popular design there about's 1977ish, give or take, that were very popular with high school age girls. With the mini skirts that were also popular at the time, it really made a showcase for the clogs.
@LadyLegs4U - It was a great time for clogs - and maybe that is why they are coming back now - as the hemline has risen quite a bit for Spring/Summer 2010. Maybe both trends are storming back. Certainly not novel, as it has been done before, but at least designers are having some fun with it. :-) Fun, fun, fun!!!!
Wow, I wore clogs like this with the rivits back in high school and I'm NOT going to tell you when that was.......! New for spring huh? I am actually waiting for closed toe high heels mules (the ones like pumps missing a back) from the 90's to come back into fashion - I still have most of mine, those were so classy!
@LadyLegs4U - Yeah, isn't it something? While this is a new trend for Spring 2010, most of the designs have 70's influences - very similar to what was being designed by Candies at the time. With so many 70's and 80's vintage designs coming back, I am sure it won't be too long before high heel mules are totally trendy again. Classy and sexy!! :-)
I can hardly imagine the aphrodisiac smell hidden inside...
Lucky who could be admitted by you to worship your gentle feet
