I lived in that Very trailor park when my son was also just a toddler at the time. The train is Very close to the trailors, and I cant belive this happened. I thank God, that my lil guy never got hurt! Its possible to be out w/the kids and them run to the tracks its 2 feet away! Im sure the Mother feels horrible, lets not blame her, but pray 4 her.

I have 4 of my own and wondered the same thing, my youngest is 2 and I have lost track of her, but my wife picks up the slack. I will admit it is hard at times and do feel for the family. It was a tragic unfortunate event that I hope people learn from. Thanks for the comment

@MIoldtimer with any1 who has a 2 yr old can you honestly say youve had your child take a piss with you, sit in the kitchen when you cook, sit in the bathroom while you shit, be in the same room as your 2 yr old while she/he plays & youre on a important phone call & cant hear? theres a million things a parent cant always have their 2 yr old in site but still wanna belive theyre safe and in the house. Although its not the kids fault you cant just assume its the parents fault.

Have you ever been working an extrication of an adult in a car crash, only to find a baby smashed between that adult and the dashboard? NO CAR SEAT? The baby didn`t know better nor have a chance to learn right from wrong when the parents FAILED in their job as parents.I get sick of "not my fault" parents

My youngest was born with severe birth defects. he arrested. that`s cardiac arrest, no heartbeat and not breathing at 6 months. Children are our gift and responsibility. Any family that doesn`t see to taking care of, by keeping an EYE ON, their children and/or put those chldren in harm`s way will be reported by me. It`s not only a requirement of my job, it`s also the right thing to do. PROTECT KIDS.
