  • does anyone know of the map?

  • awesome.....info.

  • LEGAL AGE OF CONSENT AND MARRIAGE IS 16

  • Video won't load

  • Could be the most tragic love story ever, one man spending his whole life by duplicating the feat of the pyramid builders singlehandedly for his "sweet sixteen" who never came.. or was it the name of his mothership ;)

  • Anyone else get a real kick out of Nimoy with a mustache and sweater vest?

  • Thanks for posting...I loved this program, and with its age, it is even more fascinating.

  • OK, this may seem crazy, so you may want to read past it. I am 41, and heard of this "Man moving rocks" as a child from my father, an electrician and brilliant in his own right. I have been researching not only this, but the Sumerian clay tablets that has the book of Genesis. And I am reluctant to say, but I now believe Ed may have very well been from another time and/or place. Alien? Not sure. But he did make this look like child's-play, and looked to the stars and waited. I wonder.

    ~Kev

  • @unclearless Interesting. Makes as much sense as every other theory. And like those - also speculative. But perhaps . . . perhaps. Only person who knows is Ed. And he's not telling. But, unlike some of the other blokes who have commented, your hypothesis is as relevant (to me) as any other.

  • He used prime numbers

    watch?v=OD0xfWjOLLM

    Tell me what you think?

  • THIS BLOKE IS AN AUSTRALIAN, ALMOST, A KIWI I THINK. WHY IS AUSTRALIA MENTIONED AT LEAST 3 TIMES IN THE MOVIE "Rosemarys Baby' ???

    DIRECTED BY ROMAN POLANSKI ???

when no one on earth knew what it was? and once in a 1968 clint Eastwood movie

DOESNT THIS, THE INTERNET, JUST BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF MODERN TELEVISION AND NEWS (!!!)

  • Great show, great topic! Ed was an interesting individual to say the least & the mystery of this amazing place will live on forever. I'm looking forward to my second visit here in a few weeks. I'm glad In Search Of did this show on the CC it's one of their best episodes for sure!

  • It's simple. Ed studied astral physics from ancient Egypt. The story of Coral Castle has nothing to do with a girl. Study the Great Pyramid and the Dandera Calendar and you will see Ed's version of them is Coral Castle. Ed was telling you the ancient Egyptian story of Satan being thrown in the bottomless by the return of the Sun of God in 3-21-2011.

  • I made sure when i was in Miami that I went to see Coral Castle Ed knew something we don't in one pic of his there's a metal box on top of the tripod he has it there for a reason it does have to do with magnets but don't ask me how it worked the FBI or SS took it and all of his work.

  • He liked to use the V-shaped magnets from a Model T Ford engine.

He definitely had unique insight into magnetics.

    Look into it,decide for yourself.

    The man was gifted,no doubt.

  • You haven't been paying attention? Watch Criss Angel the mindfreak at work! You can't be two places at once. Say go from the top floor of the Luxor and be on the ground just minutes later. That was done with cameras rolling from all angles no trick photography! He is a modern day ED Leeskalin to the next level. Oh sure it's an optical allusion,sure..I incourage you to read between the lines and take a good look at what's really taking place!

  • Cool to see Bruce Cathie so young. He is an expert...will be appreciated alot more once humanity is capable of grasping what he was onto with his Earth grid harmonics calculations :)

  • Earth gives off a magnetic sinewave. + and - Poles move against eachother over 9x a second, very powerful. His wheel is a massive capacitor that when discharged once each revolution will turn this sinewave into a bit of a pump z wave! That is monopolar. A monopole moves energy, and opposite this energy grounding out via distributor, moves positrons, which are also known as +ions, and are heavy, they cant move through matter but moved around it to squeeze/thrust the stone as they fell to earth.

  • research Ley Lines.

  • wow more info then the other video hehe thats an old one to back that time they did not have that concience about hiding the truth so much .. so now some time they miss some info by purpose ..you see i did not know about the tresure map i heard a lots of thing about is work but not about him .. nice of you sharing those old video thanks mister

  • I thought he died of cancer?

  • No 'simple' man could do what he did! Edward Leedskallnin was a complete genius. No one has been able to comprehend, neither can they duplicate the work of this man. RIP Edward Leedskallnin. You are the consummate artist and genius.

  • @journeyer58 Actually yea some one has and here is proof.

    watch?v=pCvx5gSnfW4&feature=related

  • ..Wow.

    Just, wow.

  • I do think magnetism is the key. It is an invisible force! Electricity creates magnetism and magnetism creates electricity. Somehow Ed found the secret to anti-gravity. Bravo Sir, I salute you!!! To top it off you left us all scratching our heads in wonder and amazement. You must be having a good old laugh right now, wherever you are!

  • @peecee1384 I explained the secret in part2 of this 3 part video....

  • Its easy when you know how!

  • @79jlr yes i know -already posted answer on other sites

  • R.I.P Ed

  • Can somebody please post this in mp4 format? It is only in .flv format...please help

  • @brianpadraic Incorrect. Try getting a project like this past the local nazi-esque zoning laws, and through the building permitting process.

  • Would'nt get planning permission for it today

  • @10urquhart Indeed. The almighty government would squish his endeavor before he even got to levitate the first stone.

  • what happened to the money? and where is the map?

  • It's pointless to even create playlists unless you put the videos in order. Man that's a pain in the ass.

  • @HaligonianType1 HERE HERE!!! i get that same frustration!!

  • dam would be cool to understand this simple of physics. AMAZING!!!1

  • Comment removed

  • I never seen this show before. Interesting video clips of Ed, and some other pieces I hadn't picked up elsewhere.. Thank you for the upload, man!

    PEACE

  • The sweet sixteen is a code he left behind and it has to do with the sacred mathematics that is hidden in Coral Castle .Look for a video called:"The secret of the universe" !

  • wow! this is so amazing...i can't believe i've never heard of this before...one of the coolest stories i've learned about in a while.

  • Yeah, you said that in the previous vid. Got any proof? Or you just think it's funny to call some dead guy a child molester?

I think the man was obsessed over his Latvian girlfriend not marrying him, and spent his life building Rock Gate Park as a shrine to her. But a child molester? I think that's your own imagination. I wonder why you have child molestation on the brain? Guilty conscience maybe?

  • @LemmeLieHere suck my balls..

  • @LemmeLieHere

sweet 16 may not even be a friggin person.....

  • @LemmeLieHere He's saying that because that is what he would do.

  • gov prob killed him off cause he knew too much.

if no one can understand his works, someone should give them to stephen hawking, maybe he might.

and i wouldn't touch anything in his house, looked like something out of indiana jones - might activate a secret compartment or send you to your death. or find the treasure in another dimension!!!!

    tales of horror!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sweet sixteen was his sweetheart who got cold feet and wouldn't marry him. It broke his heart and he emigrated to the US

  • Maybe he knew the secrets because he was a harmless human being. I wouldn't want this technology in the common citizens of today.

  • perhaps the treasure map points to his sweet sixteen. is it in the stars? does it point to a cosmic location?

  • here is a theory: he wrapped coil around the blocks. maybe sent a current thru them. current somehow caused an antigravity effect, like two similar polarities between block and ground. by controlling amount of current, he can control the stregnth of polarity therfore the height of the blocks lifted. another polarized coil wraped object can be used to move the blocks horizontally.

sweet sixteen is an enigma. i think he used it metaphorically.

  • I saw his book magnetic currents. He knew what electricity and gravity are.

  • Amazing.

  • He died of stomach cancer

  • He died of malnutrition? too bad..he's too busy building his castle to remember to eat...

  • I bet adult humans think to much, lets give the map to alittle kid, a little kid can porbably find teh treasure

  • He's like a Latvian Michael Jackson.

  • It's SPOCK!!!!

  • Damn, those eastern Europeans with their brains ;-)

  • he is like nicola tesla... cool, i wish im as genius like them!!!

  • They were on the SAME wavelength NO DOUBT ! TESLA IS Talked abouth at the castle

  • Nice tash Leonard.

  • @simpsonmark What is tash? and anyone know why this video is black?

  • In other places I have read repeatedly that 'sweet sixteen' was a 16 year old he loved in Latvia when he was 26 years old. They were engaged, but she broke the engagement the night before their wedding telling him she had decided he was too old and too poor.

  • That is the most amazing story I have ever heard!!! It is like a love story with a facinating and creative journey. Building something that big with a mystery that no one can solve all for a true love. That is so rare.

  • Read his article over at Wikipedia. I think you'll find some of his quoted moral and political views rather disjointed.

By the way, true loves don't break off engagements. ..And if he truly loved the girl, that meant honoring her desire to break it off with him. His endless obsession with her was totally inappropriate, actually quite creepy and psychotic.

I'm curious to know just how many kids "his" sweet sixteen had with the man she loved and ended up marrying.

  • It would have been creepy and psychotic if he had been stalking her, sending her endless letters, calling her constently and endlessly but he didn't do any of that. He respected her wishes of ending their engagement and he kept his distances from her. I think his story is amazing.

  • sweet sixteen wasn't an actual person dork

  • Dork? Really?

  • @Rimethurse Yeah really, do you have a problem? Have you read all of his writings? put it in perspective

  • @kewikle ,,,,,,You sound like one of those psycho bitches who tells a man that she loves him, says they are soul mates, screws him every other day for a month or so, and one day he shows up at her door and she freaks out at him, and is filing for a PFA.

Look up Histrionic, and Borderline Personality Disorder, It pretty much describes your kind

  • @joethemechanic well said

  • Comment removed

  • I don't think he was interested in any of that and besides if these secrects and mysterious were true and if it fell in the wrong hands, there would have been more disasters out in the world.

  • Comment removed

  • True but then the magic of this man's work would have died along with him, it is better to keep the mystery. In my opinion that is, it is better that way for me.

  • he tried to get patents, dork

  • Apparently he applied for a patent, but it was at the brink of WW2 which led to the government trying to gain the tech for war (he wouldn't let it go before he had the patent)

Dunno what's true, but it's fascinating all the same.

  • if he got the patent then he probably would of revealed his secret. It was for some funny magnetic generator.....

  • I used to love going there when I was a kid. I knew there was some mystery behind it but didn't know the details,

I never saw this episode of In Search of

or if I did I was too young.Either way thanks for posting it, brought back memories of going there with my grandparents!

  • the only problem is that thier knowledge would be used to harm mankind.

  • Nikola Tesla's plans were stolen after he died. Ed Leedskalnin's castle was robbed after he died. Sad that their knowledge is not shared to benefit Human kind.

  • none of those who we call geniuses have made discoveries that we could call "unthinkable".. the problem is with the rest of us, who are sleepping inside our box.. we might find again the knowledge, but we surely lose the better timing.

  • Brings back many memories. This show reminds me of my younger years when I was into comic books, dungeons and dragons, drawing and watching the Incredible Hulk and That's Incredible!

  • Has anyone ever seen his book?

  • find it on google.

  • You can find his books online if you really look.

  • anti gravity- seems he could magnetize non metal material, wood and coral.

  • even if he magnetized it how did he lift such a heavy block come on man u use a magnet to pick somethin up its gonna get weigh the same as the magnet plus the block witch would be HEAVY and where was the magnet

  • Well?

    Fess up, man.

  • its maddening that we dont know how the frick he did it.

  • I just went here yesterday. I have will have a video of my daughter on here soon. It is really amazing. And, you get this kind of energized feeling as you walk among the sculptures. There is something very mystical going on there!!! Beautiful place. You must experience it for yourself!!!

  • Every mystery in physics is solved by inventing mathematics to explain it. And now we have many theories about one thing that we actually don't understand at all. I think that the key to "solving" this mystery is beyond our intellectual capacity.

  • screw you tube. sham ratings, comments, favorited e.t.c. !!!!

  • yes, you are truly a pretender...

  • and the sweet 16 is THE number of something you should tell us /me

  • Where can I get a copy of his book? What about the map??? I love mysteries like this...

  • Amazing no youtube/internet PC bedroom geniuses who always seem to know everything haven't come up with a theory for this or said it's fake or something. I may be losing faith in you...

  • @lasange

i may have something for you.

its actually physicly possible to lift heavy things with just a finger.

i dont remember all the details but i did it with my school science clubs a couple years back.

it involves the compression of muscles for a certain amount of time and upon release, you can lift as much as 200 pounds with just a pinky.

the blocks he lifted where over 9 tons i know but it was just with a single finger...

  • @jodude5

    Please demonstrate.

Muscles are not the only factor of lifting.

Metaphysical abilities aside,it will snap you spine.

I would very much like to see someone physically lift 9 tons.

I believe he had unique talents and abilities but I don't think you grasp the implications of your statements.

if you research him and his work further, you'll see that Ed's main abilities and knowledge concerned his discoveries regarding magnets.

  • @jetpoweredgriffin

The trick is in the muscles. when you're pressing out, you are exerting certain muscles and relaxing the others. Your arms can't go anywhere in the door, but once you step out and relax, your arms say "wait a minute" (the 60 seconds gets you used to those muscles flexed).

The same thing would be if you all put your hands on top of each other. the combined weight of your arms would make it close to the weight of your subject. So your arms are used to holding up that weight.

  • @jodude5

    Sure.

Try that with a 60,000 pound block and tell me how it works out.

That is larger than an 18-wheel tractor-trailer can legally pull without a permit,

so you might want to go to the block instead of having it brought to you.

  • @jetpoweredgriffin

oh and if you're still not convinced search "one finger lifting" on youtube. i know that there's usually 4 ppl lifting one person with a finger each but they are doing without any practice.

now, imagine someone having a much greater control of that "trick" and using a hand instead of a finger...

p.s: i dint know about ed's research and was just trying to provide a more "mature" theorie to the internet, but magnets could be the solution too.

  • @lasange

if we add factors to this, maybe we can come up with the right amount of weight he used to lift:

factor 1: if each finger can lift 200 pounds then with both his hands he could be able to lift over 2 tons.

factor 2: we where 10 years old when we did this and he was 40. although he was frail and skinny, muscular size does not have any influence on this. he could have at least been able to lift 4 tons

factor 3: he seemed to live a very spiritual life when he came to florida...

  • @lasange

factor 3 continued: so my guess is that he spent some time with bhouddist monks or he was a hermit for a long time.

he must also have quite a knowledge of martial arts such as tai-chi or yoga so that he can almost perfect control over his body.

with this much control he could easily increase the weight to 7 tons and even increase the time of lifting to 5 seconds at most.

in conclusion to this part of the mystery, theres still a couple small factors that could change the weight....

  • @lasange

i said earlier that the pinky's limit was 200 pounds but the other fingers have much more strengh than this and he could weight around 8 to 9 tons or 9 to 10 tons with reduced lifting time.

as for how he cut the blocks, it could have been with a diamon-tipped tool.

we saw in the vid that the digging machine had diamond-tipped edge to cut.

they cut it within a day but ed took 6 years i think then it might have taken more than a day to cut it.

to finish this, his wooden crane...

  • @lasange

it looks too weak to lift something like that but look at the way its positioned.

the weight of the block is divided between the 3 crane stands.

most in search of episodes that ive watched are about things i cant explain but this one is child's play to explain though...

  • Shamanic healing centers, books, and programs are common New Age developments, growing in proportion to the complexity of the modern world and the longing for a simpler past. For some people, shamanism is a window to a glorious, if illusory, past, when humans lived in harmony with nature and with each other. Shamanism offers not only an alternative medicine, but an alternative reality.

  • It's actually a really dickish thing to do. Know how to do stuff like that and then take the secret to your grave

  • He said to people who wanted to know how, that you must learn it themselfs. He couldnt tell people, because they may use it for bad things.

  • You mean do bad things like carrying blocks around easily and drop them on people? lol

  • Re:Harveybirdmantk421

It was very much so like that. All that drives this planet to advance in technology is to beat the others guys (countries). Theres very little support in expanding our minds as a race and tons of power struggling, wars, arguing, fighting, overpopulating, ego's, destroying beauty etc. etc. What makes you think we deserve to know this as a race?

  • @GUILDGOB

I hate how people disgrace the human race. it is not our race. from history we can tell it is not who we are but the worlds rules and laws that surround us that create our "life" we try to carry out in lieu with those rules. we are not free minded any longer which is the crippling effect to our race. we are born with free mind and free spirits. our potential will never be held high with this restrictions on our choices of whats wrong or right. MONEy putting a price on things. wrong

  • ye but telling some1 is like telling a thieve that ur putting $10,000,000,000 on ur front porch

  • So scientists that come up with new knowledge, chemists that come up with new medicine and archetects that come up with new methods of building should all keep it to themselves? Rediculous! Our culture and knowledge all come from our predecessors contributing to society.

  • Creepy, insane.

  • Leonard Nimoy when he had a moustache!

  • so where is that treasure map today!?

  • Love conquers all.

  • Ahhhhhh! "Love conquers all" ...perhaps so...if it doesn't kill you first ;-)

  • or her i might ad....

  • Ed looks like the G-man in Half life series

  • Did somebody delete this video? If so, please put it back on.

  • the music playing during that old footage was beautiful

  • ed was awesome the power of our brains can do anything

  • were that book can be buy?
