The majority of pits DONT like other ANIMALS, but this is because they were breed for certain purposes like dog fighting and it is generations of dog or annimal aggressive dogs producing offspring.
My pitty kisses me like that, she will cover my whole face in kisses she is just so happy to have love & attention. When I walk her, people give me dirty looks sometimes too. They make this big space & get way over like she's going to lunge at them or something. If they stopped to pet her she would just cover them with kisses. But thanx to the media & assholes like Michael Vick, a lot of people think the breed is all evil.

Pitbulls are some of the nicest dogs. I used to walk one as a job. Why? Because the lady couldn't find anyone willing to walk it. People gave me a hard time as I walked it, saying to keep away and that the dog was dangerous. Some people just don't understand it isn't the dog that's vicious but the people who mistreat them are.

I own 3 pitbulls and a 2 1/2 pound chihuahua and my little chihuahua bullies them, steals their food, kicks them off the bed, and my pits greet everyone with wagging bodies and a thousand kisses and chihuahua in her cute little outfits greets everyone with growls lol. These dogs are AMAZING dogs extremely loyal and would give their lives to protect yours. All my pitbulls were adoptions from neglected, abused, and malnourished cases. And they're the best dogs I've ever had.
As much as I know about this terrible injustice done to these wonderful "nanny"dogs, even with the pitattackwithlove I still expected something bad to happen - how sad it that! Half the dogs PTS every week are pit bulls, about 40,000, because of misconception that is so wide spread. I loved and watched every second of this twice! Bet they got those dogs adopted - love them!

CHEESE gives animals constipation - if you work with dogs, please read books on them, their best diet and wolf behavior. You clearly don't even have a decent grip on how to hold a leash. Short leash the dog, for NO push their nose down gently and REWARD them when they do calm down. This clearly shows people who have no clue how to handle animals. From my past experiences working in animal shelters and my current job as a groomer I much rather deal with pits and such over shih tzus and chihuahuas. Much nicer to deal with
I laughed sooo hard! These poor babies were just excited to be out of their cages. Every dog I've adopted acted like this the first time I took them out of their cages but eventually calmed down & have become AWESOME pups.....yes, all have been Pibbles!
Behaviour side, think of it this way, how EXCITED would you be to get out of Jail for a few hours, be pet, loved, and played with. I think you would get a little silly as well. Doesn't mean they are bad behaved dogs, it means they were SO happy to be free even for a little bit. This video made me smile from ear to ear!!!!!!
Use Gentle Leaders. It may be funny to watch this, but prospective adopters are going to look at these sweet but unruly dogs and think they can't handle them. Use Gentle Leaders to demonstrate how easily they can be managed, and your adoption rates will go up.

This was actually on Inside Edition about two weeks ago. What really got me was that the reporter covering the story had the nerve to stress how loving Jindger is, but then say that she hasn't gotten a home yet because of the bad wrap pit bulls have gotten.

Brilliant!!! My little bullie kisses everyone like this, too. But she's a puppy and is learning to be more gentle. They are one of the most loving breed I've ever seen. (And I was SO NOT a dog owner before I rescued my little puppy)

LOL! That was so funny and so cute! I would totally adopt inger if my pitty puppy wouldn't freak out lol. My half red nose/half blue nose pit pull is gonna be 1 1/2 on 12-10-2011 so in exactly a week haha. Her name is Jasmine and she attacks us and our friends with love all the time. :) Ginger reminded me quite a bit of Jasmine when she was doing that haha. Loved the video, super adorable! ^-^

CHEESE gives animals constipation - if you work with dogs, please read books on them, their best diet and wolf behavior. You clearly don't even have a decent grip on how to hold a leash. Short leash the dog, for NO push their nose down gently and REWARD them when they do calm down. This clearly shows people who have no clue how to handle animals. Eat the chese yourself and learn about dogs if you work with them. Please. This is sad. The dogs are adorable and clearly think they're alphas.

They are just doing a segment to try to help find the animals homes - and their two subjects just happened to be two rambunctious dogs. I've given Jasmine (my pitt) and my family dogs Maizie (a Jack Russel Terrior/Whippet mixed) and Bisquit (an American Bulldog) cheese before and it's never hurt them before. Those two women should have their own show. The dogs were hilarious but I love the way the women handled it and their sense of humor about the whole thing. But did those dogs get homes?! Behaviour side, think of it this way, how EXCITED would you be to get out of Jail for a few hours, be pet, loved, and played with. I think you would get a little silly as well. This was actually on Inside Edition about two weeks ago. What really got me was that the reporter covering the story had the nerve to stress how loving Jindger is, but then say that she hasn't gotten a home yet because of the bad wrap pit bulls have gotten.
