    Thank you for the comment. I do not know the answer to your question about this music vs the mass. Certainly these verses could be played during a mass. The titles "Elevation" and "Offertory" certainly imply the mass. The works are not arranged as are the two masses by Couperin, one for the convents and one for the parishes.
