Communion with God alone through prayer CAN satisfy. In fact, it's the only thing that does satisfy. Not any relationship with any man or woman can satisfy the hunger of a man's heart. Dude's stressing the wrong thing. It's fun to think about human relationships but the presence of God is the only thing that truly satisfies. Anyone who has sought after relationships instead of God can tell you that.
So then why wasn't Adam satisfied? All he had was God, yet God acknowledge that Adam needed something else. Human interaction is necessary. No a woman can not satisfy my soul. But praying doesn't satisfy my need for companionship.

Communion with God alone through prayer CAN satisfy. In fact, it's the only thing that does satisfy. Not any relationship with any man or woman can satisfy the hunger of a man's heart. Dude's stressing the wrong thing. It's fun to think about human relationships but the presence of God is the only thing that truly satisfies. Anyone who has sought after relationships instead of God can tell you that.
