Yeah, my computer isn't even a year old, and it was top of the line when I bought. Even Sim Cities Societies plays at a horrible frame rate on my computer, and it was made for gaming. So, unless Maxis really pulls together, I don't think they could really make it for lower end games. I mean, every Sim acts simultaneously and you can just simply choose between Sims anywhere in the neighborhood. I dunno about you, but that sounds like a huge deal! What do you guys think?
If I'm not mistaken, another company made Sim Societies (or whatever the name was). Big mistake. Maxis has always tried to make their games playable even in old systems. Spore is huge, but the requirements are way lower than any other game of its generation. Although simulation an entire neighborhood does sound like a big processor hog, so who knows. Maybe we'll need extra RAM and a new processor.
i cant wait for this to come out!!! The sims may look a little...weird...but they aren't done with the game! They should make some changes. But I don't care they are pretty cool! in the beginning u dont feel to much difference between sims2 to sims3, but then as the time pass u feel this difference. the cut faces, the expressions are really better and u can feel what your sim is feeling (on the sims 3) but of course i can't say anything about sims2, i'm addicted to it and all i gotta say is that this is a fuckin' game. i love you will wright.

I cant admit to my friends that i play it coz theyve all grown out of it but i find it so fun to MAKE your OWN world!! Without killing lots of people or keeping them underground, which is what youd realisticly have to do Lol :P

It looks good but at the moment the graphics don't look as good as The Sims 2! It looks more animated, the Sims look more realistic in the Sims 2. But we have to remember the game isn't due to be released for another year, so maybe they will still be working to get the graphics better than this!
my mom is sims 2 geek. started from sims 2 when i helped her to create her first sim..... now i cant play pc when ever i want cuz when i come home... my mom is playing sims 2. i get only breakfast and and sometimes dinner .... and so on for 8yrs damn!! =^-^=

Well, I think it's more sad that there aren't enough people past 50 playing games. I hope when I'm older I'm still gaming and enjoying technology. I don't want to be sitting around watching golden girls and re-runs of The Price is Right. Make fun of me all you want, but once I'm 80, I hope to still be gaming ;) Nothing sad about it at all.
