I have now tried this fucking race at least a hundred and fifty times and can get nowhere near even 2nd. By the time I've entered the final left-hander (and passed everything but the first two places) I'm STILL miles behind!!! You need to have the settings used in this vid (or ANY 'B6 Event GOLD' vid) for it to be of any use. My apologies if settings have already been posted, but could someone email them to me please - before I smash my fucking PS3 to bits?!!??!?!!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
basically turn all the aids off and have it in standard mode. although u can leave abs to 1 (found in the ra menu) u may have to designate button for it on control config. hope that helps good luck.
p.s also make sure u slipstream, this may be the reason why u aren't accelerating as fast at the start. turn race music off and listen to the wind resistance to determine whther ur benefiting from the effects of slipstream
this is only in standard mode, i have done it on pro mode but as most ppl who need help on event are normally doing it in standard mode thought would make sense to just show them in standard mode.

hi. settings are:
standard mode
traction control off
ASM off
active steering off
gears - manual

I must've made at least 100.000 cr. on this one track, getting pure 6th and 7th positions with default driving settings.
I then turned Active Stability Management off, and set Traction control to 0 (off).
This makes the car only slightly more difficult to handle, but quite a bit faster.
First 2 attempts after that, I scored an easy 3rd position, despite slamming into practically everything and everyone along the way.
Now to perfect the driving style, using these settings. :)

traction control is at 0 all aids are turned off.

Did you golded the event when in pro mode?
I've been as close as +0.115 from the Mini in Pro, but it gets annoying after a bunch of attempts.

ya did this 1 in pro mode before did replay. still some events cant do in pro mode though like A-3 and B-3
