@MauroSDMF i use a laptop too, its simple all you need is a midi to usb adapter and a midi piano. then you set it up as instructed. I use a M-audio one. its blue with three green lights. it was like $20

@samthomsen With version 5 yes you can now. But if you wanna go full boar and your not locked in to a DAW already then you get the Reason + Record Duo bundle. Record gives you all the things reason does not. Reason is basically just for making beats meaning synths, drums etc. Record is your real virtual studio. That gives you...... Too much to list but to put it short, the ability to record ANY instrument, vocal tracks, add effects from auto tune to you name it. Hope that helps.
