this game is so fucking stupid i swear to fucking god every fucking god damn time i fight the second form he uses an attack called pregontial wrath or some shit that instant kills me. and the bad thing is its immediately after he uses the first merciless judgement. there is no possible fucking way i can beat him my stupid fcuking game must have glitch up or something because it doesnt even let me heal after the first merciless juedgment then he uses that faggot move "pregontial wrath". FUCKKKKKK

@iamowe1992 I had the same problem with pregontial wrath, i reccommend equiping either every character in ur party with Cherubs Crown, or just ur party leader, make sure u equip 3 of those crowns.

well , go to your last saved data , walk around , and get some points trying to get some CP , while fighting other monsters , after a few hours i think you are 2x as strong as he is ;P ( i had the same problem , with final fantasy x , when i was flyin on a plane or something.. )

haha you guys are hella cool. anyways, when i play him, he cast this thingy on me, i forgot what its call but its basically the Death... not even doom but immediate death, ughhh. i thought you guys would give tips on that lol. but yeah i was basically doing the same as you except i dont use even odds.

This boss is not hard at all and I didn't grind in pulse. Fang/vanille/hope with sen/med/med, sab/sab/syn, sab/med/syn, com/med/rav, com/sab/syn, and com/rav/rav. Heal your dudes after MJ, switch constantly between sab/sab/syn to sab/med/syn whenever their hp falls. The goal is to get Imperil and Slow to stagger him easily while buffing your dudes up. Then spam attacks until you stagger, then cast POISON on him. This is the most important part. It takes less than 5 minutes to beat him. Simple.

You don't need to summon Bahamut.

Use Hope,Lightning, and Vanille, and stagger him, than use the paradigm "Tri-Disaster" and the magic attacks have more damage than the physical.

And he'll die faster that way. :) Make sure to heal your people though..

The paradigms I used are- "Tri-Disaster", "Salvation", and "Relentless Assault." But this Video was help to me, that's how I figured out to beat it. :D

An easy way to do it is to set the paradigm to sab/med/med and have vanille poison him with light and hope healing.once he does merciless judgment turn to salvation so that they all heal.you could add in some more paradigms like evened odds and relentless assault. once orphan gets staggered when he's about 3/4 of the way through his life you should summon hecoteincheir.I summon him when he uses dies iraes because my characters are abit under leveled.if you do this you should beat him in 10mins

i like how when your in orphans cradle, your able to go to gran pulse for as long as you wish and you can go back at any time. I was able to finish tons of missions and level up my characters to their max. makes this boss alot easier.

I used this strategy mostly. When he gets to the stage of debuffing and such... Just switch to combat clinic and STAY in it until after he does merciless judgment again. Once he does this just do relentless assault until you need heals then switch to combat clinic and back to assault.

When he casts consummate darkness (it will start debuffing phase) that's when you use combat clinic. When he uses consummate light switch to relentless (after he does it of course).

@DragonForce191 Use as many Cherub's Crowns (or whatever) as possible. They will greatly reduce the odds of him instantly killing you.

Unless Lights Magic was drastically higher then her Strength, you should have gone aggression once you hit 999.9% stagger damage. Commando's Attacks are drastically stronger then Ravagers

Most annoying boss of all time. Trying to make bosses harder by giving them insta kill abilities regardless of how much hp you have = fail. There is nothing fun about spending 90 percent of a fight healing your characters over and over and over and over and over and over and over. FUN TIMES!!!!!

first you need everyone to medic and then

Sbeatour/sabatour/synergist

to heal sabeatour/sabetour/medic and when he does that special attack use triple medic beat him in 5 mins

I've got a BIG problem here. Orphan does something to me and i can't heal for a bit and he makes my bar go yellow. Which reduces the speed of it. He hdoes't do that to you. Whats the secret. because thats the only thing that stops me from beating him.

For me it was an epic battle i beat orphan's 1st form the only problem i had was when it used that freakin gas that just adds status ailment's to my part members and i was playing with Lightning,Hope, and Fang but when it used that wrath move i just avoided that thanks to my equipped cherubs crowns that was easy thank goodness and the ending was EPIC wish that it was a little longer like FF8 but all in all great game!!!!

well, i found it easier to have vanille snow and hope in your party and have combat clinic default, then switch to sab + Sen+ Syn and have vanille as leader and keep using poison and inflict debuffs and keep using poison again then switch to relent assult to stagger and finish.

A kinda easy way to deal with merciless judgment is to play as the tank (Fang or Snow) for this fight. They take far less damage from that ability than the others. So, if you are having trouble staying alive, try it as the tank.

@SplitGamers I know Brutal Legend has lots of space for tutorials but i saw on your gamer tag you have resident evil 5 so thats another good one to do especialy as there are lots of things to find in that game and lots of things to do i nearly have all the origional 1000 in that game and i know a guide for resident evil 5 isnt to much of hard game once you know your way around
