  • This version is a bit... not lame, but worse.

  • Davon ist Roger Waters Lichtjahre entfernt

  • Former Pink Floyd member David Gilmour will make a surprise appearance during former bandmate Roger Waters's upcoming 30th anniversary tour for The Wall, announced Waters via his Facebook page on July 14. Marking a reconciliation after years of feuding, the two will perform together at an as-yet-unknown gig during the 2010-11 tour.

  • a Luv u Dave but u were not the origmal floyd and that is roger waters talkng to sid full of acid !!!

  • Am I the only one that @3:56 hears a terrible mistake???? Gilmour is God... but probably can also make mistakes... IMHO, obviously...

  • @IvanAudero hes human, and all humans make mistakes

  • i was hearing this video without looking it... at 6:00 i realise that was a live version...

thank you PiNk FlOyD. thanks a lot for the moments that u gave to us.

  • wow ....loved it

  • Bello a 20anni e ancora sei così...............Stupendi .

  • David is a genius

  • a great song :-)

  • masterpiece

  • chills amazing song

  • I have not only posted on this song many of times, but it is still my favorite song of all time and always will be:)

  • PULSE is the best version

  • Yes, PULSE is a good version too!...

  • @sbandat90 I agree the PULSE version is best. However, the acoustic version David played at Robert Wyatt's Meltdown Concert comes a very VERY close second! Followed by the Remember that Night version.

  • @DannyNewman

You forgot the Gdansk version: watch?v=WGkcFY1SlMI

  • @Pulsar89 It is clear to say that this song, or any Floyd song sounds better live than the studio versions. I love the Gdansk version too but it's very close to the Remember that Night version. That's why I didn't mention the Delicate Sound of Thunder or the Knebworth version as it is very close to the PULSE version. However I do like the 1977 live version too. I am trying to learn the Remember that Night and meltdown versions. Would help if I could download them so I can slow them down.

  • @DannyNewman

True, but the Gdansk version has the wine glasses, which make it extra special.

There are ways to download youtube videos. With downloadhelper in Firefox, for example. Or you could buy the dvds :-)

  • @Pulsar89 I have the DVD's but I can't slow them down on my DVD player and I don't know how to copy them to my comp. The wine glasses were also used in Venice too. On the Remember that Night documentary they show Guy Pratt and Dick Parry playing the wine glasses but there is also an expanded section showing Guy, Dick and Dave Gilmour rehearsing with David playing the opening solo to help them.

  • @DannyNewman Also Phil Manzanera was on the glasses too.

  • @DannyNewman

I know, I have the dvd too :-)

The Venice version is actually on disc 5 of the Gdansk box.

    D iamond

  • Can you all believe this guy? (DfBoNdd)

  • I actually never noticed the SYD thing. Cool! What of the O and C, though?

  • Sound quality isn't the best but it's the best from the heart version by far

  • where did you get this video and what concert is this from?

  • Its from David Gilmour - Live in Gdansk :)

  • hold on, no it isn't? where is this actually filmed? lol, is it remember that night?

  • It's from BBC Radio 2 concert. You can see it en Live in Gdansk.

  • @GeezaGooderz Mermaid Theatre, London, for BBC Radio 2 as part of the On an Island tour.

  • you can buy the dvd or the cd of this show - highly recommend. this is a beauty!

one of the most under rated guitarists ever. he is truly a dreamboat soloist. it is all about the melody. i always appreciated it. i get sick of 'i can play fast and furious'. technique is important but melody is first and last the most important.

  • The sound quality is terrible....

  • I agree with the other guy, this isnt the best version! Also u should learn to speak better English when insulting people! It makes you look like less of an ass!

  • best version my ass this realey sucks

  • Thaxs for share your intelligence with all the net.

  • you saying this sucks?, how dare you, if he thinks its the best version, let it be the best version for him or anyone that thinks that, but u don't say this really sucks, pink floyd can't suck on any way, so u better shut ur little mouth and start thinking about how retarded u just sounded

  • I Didn´t mean Pink Floyd but the video and sound quality

  • @peterstreefland1811

the video quality sucks two asses

  • its amazing that he still has his blackout strat from 1968 and still working. it would be a great history behind that strat when david gilmour dies.

  • Amen.

  • Sorry to be picky, but the sound quality is crap. Can you upload it again, please? Don't upload Pink Floyd unless it works properly OK? It sounds better on a crackly FM radio! Seeing as this was Rick Wright's penultimate public appearance I think he deserves a better tribute, yeah?

  • I agree

  • This wasn't Rick's penultimate public appearance.

  • yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Brilliant!! It is like a mix between the Meltdown concert and PULSE.

  • Wow...

  • Wow... Amazing

He still has his "Blackout" Strat"!
