  • I agree, I look at my beer fermenting every day to see how it's going and to have a smell, makes me thirsty, I think I'll go and get a beer now.

  • How can you stand NOT looking? I peek at mine 10 times a day! What would you think if you had an airlock blowout after the first day?? 72 and you have it blanketed?

  • I actually brew my beer at a location away from where I live, so I am without my beer by my side to check all the time! As for a blow out, I know its risky, but why worry! As for the blanket, I wanted to keep the sunlight off the fermenter, and I don't think it is usually that warm in the beer room.
