its a very big lantern wih several smaller lights attached to what i assume are thin wires added around the balloon. look at the base of it, it even looks like a flame, acts like one and is in fact.... ONE :)

DEFINATELY modified chinese lantern intended to look unusual. I bet those who made it had quite a laugh watching people go crazy but they ought to be shot for ruining any realistic investigation of the many more valid ufo sightings/encounters like pilots of military and civil aircraft.

i'd say a chinese lantern. I'm a firm believer in UFOs but this is a lantern!!! in my opinion.

Yeah. This is obviously a chinese lantern with lots of burning bits of lantern maintaining their controlled orbits around the mother lantern. Then the mother lantern sped away (because chinese lanterns do that you know.)

and 'controled orbit'? seems pretty erratic to me. Yes it's not typical of chinese lanturns, but in light of any better footage an unusually designed chinese lanturn seems the most likely fit.

Dont remove this, please!. Even if it is a Chinese Lantern (which I too belive is the likely answer....it appears to be one that has caught fire...the 'orbs' being tiny flickers of flame around it) U should keep it up. It is a good resource for researchers everywhere, as it is a good example of how a Chinese Lantern can appear odd and UFO like. U should keep it up, but change the title to something like "UFO-SUSPECTED CHINESE LANTERN"..... Anyway, thanks for posting it, whatever U do with it.

Yeah, I'd say its pretty sweet if a couple seconds too long. Can you try one that is about 8s or less?  Great effects though!
