@OtomoTenzi For their size and price I'd give them an 8, they do lack in the lower end a fair bit - anything under 50 Hz in almost completely gone, but the mids and highs are brilliant and they have ample volume for a reasonable sized room.
@josh221212 Really, because the Music Monitors are so small compared to these T40 speakers. So do you recommend more powerful speakers like the new BOSE Companion 20s if I want more power?
@perlewitzaudio Don't know, I've only ever heard the MusicMonitors and the Companion 3's, the T40's sound a fair bit better than the MusicMonitors, but I'd imagine, for twice the price as the T40 the Companion 20's would sound better, but the price could just be the build and brand. I'd go check them both out in a store if possible.
there's no point in a sound test because we're hearing mostly the quality of our own speakers. It would've been better to just rate the quality with your own rating and explain how detailed and crisp it is.
well guys, if you have the money buy those. I just did. When I pressed play I was amazed. My ears were used to the old ones(LG 2.0 40 Euros) and the T40 made HUGE difference. After that I must buy a Monitor 2.0 system around 40 watts and 250 Euros to make the next step.
@kopercio2602 I didn't make this video, and none of that stuff's mine, so I don't know, and I can't make out the name on it from the video, sorry, your best bet would be pming the uploader of the video.
@statsnegerbarn i agree with you mate..i bought mine a few days ago after getting great reviews off people but these are weak without a sub bass woofer...What were they thinking..If you like your music with rich deep sounds then these are not right at all.
@ssa12344 It is possible to connect to your TV. If you want to connect it to your ipod, i think you have to buy their dock "Creative Docking Station X-30"
I just purchased the t40 series I used, and the bass is not as good as your speakers. It sounds kind of flat, the band doesnt vibrate at all and the sound feels weak. Are the series I just like that or did I get cheated? any ideas or comments? My HK Soundsticks have a very different contrasting sound when I switch speakers and I have a feeling these speakers may be defective let me know. Thanks
I bought a pair the other day, the treble on my left speaker seems non existant. Are both speakers supposed to be giving off the exact same sound or is one meant to be more bassy?
iv just bought these with an asus xonar sound card. i think there are the best when playing like house/dance/electronic get some really clear crisp sound.
@ThisIs2009 The original video was deleted from YouTube. I don't know how. And yes this was without external mic. Thanks for pointing that out. I must change the description.
During the TWEETER test. MY logitech speakers are cracking and popping. Is that bad?

Do you know any BOSE speakers that these would compare to just for general sound comparison?
perlewitzaudio 4 months ago
@perlewitzaudio I think the Bose MusicMonitor's probably sound closest to the T40's.

So yeah, I just bought these. Amazing sound, but why is it so low? My PC volume is 60% now, as opposed to 20% with old speakers WTF?
duelistxistenz 6 months ago
@duelistxistenz im not sure but i think you may need an amp to run these little beuts properly
lantyboy696 6 months ago
@lantyboy696 Np dude, I've fixed it. They actually got higher sound than my old 5.1 >.< Really good speakers.

@redfirebird2739 The speakers do tend to sound very flat. I keep the bass at about 3 o'clock. Also, they sound better at higher volumes.

shakalski 2 years ago
i've heard of this problem before. This is a speaker defect where the tweeter is disconnected from the amplifier. Probably best to replace them.
