  • During the TWEETER test. MY logitech speakers are cracking and popping. Is that bad?

  • @zCuRiouSHD I think you'll find your hearing the crackling from the recording.

  • whats that colour light thing under your screen?

  • @TheMightyKinkle A light bar that reacts to sound which I found at Maplin.

  • @josh221212 cool, do you know if they still sell it now? and how much was it?

  • @SgtAndrewM It's called Sound-to-Light Sensor Bar on the Maplin website and it's £5.99 at the moment.

  • Can't really hear the highs too well... : P

  • @OtomoTenzi Yeah, that's the XL1's mic in person the highs and mids are what the creatives do best.

  • @josh221212

OK, so how would you rate these speakers on a scale of 1-10?

  • @OtomoTenzi For their size and price I'd give them an 8, they do lack in the lower end a fair bit - anything under 50 Hz in almost completely gone, but the mids and highs are brilliant and they have ample volume for a reasonable sized room.

  • @josh221212

OK, but have the neighbors called the cops on ya yet?

  • @OtomoTenzi Fortunately no. Since I use these in a sound-proofed studio outside the house :P

  • this or bowers and wilkins mm1

  • @MrJokertime1 MM1, if all the extra money isn't an issue.

  • @josh221212 ok thanks

  • Do you know any BOSE speakers that these would compare to just for general sound comparison?

  • @perlewitzaudio I think the Bose MusicMonitor's probably sound closest to the T40's.

  • @josh221212 Really, because the Music Monitors are so small compared to these T40 speakers. So do you recommend more powerful speakers like the new BOSE Companion 20s if I want more power?

  • @perlewitzaudio Don't know, I've only ever heard the MusicMonitors and the Companion 3's, the T40's sound a fair bit better than the MusicMonitors, but I'd imagine, for twice the price as the T40 the Companion 20's would sound better, but the price could just be the build and brand. I'd go check them both out in a store if possible.

  • @josh221212 Thank you very much for your help!

  • there's no point in a sound test because we're hearing mostly the quality of our own speakers. It would've been better to just rate the quality with your own rating and explain how detailed and crisp it is.

  • so josh describe these in one word :)

  • So yeah, I just bought these. Amazing sound, but why is it so low? My PC volume is 60% now, as opposed to 20% with old speakers WTF?

  • @duelistxistenz im not sure but i think you may need an amp to run these little beuts properly

  • @lantyboy696 Np dude, I've fixed it. They actually got higher sound than my old 5.1 >.< Really good speakers.

  • well guys, if you have the money buy those. I just did. When I pressed play I was amazed. My ears were used to the old ones(LG 2.0 40 Euros) and the T40 made HUGE difference. After that I must buy a Monitor 2.0 system around 40 watts and 250 Euros to make the next step.

  • where can i get UV meter same like yours ?:)

  • @kopercio2602 VU meter, not UV, :P

  • @carlover961 aww yeaa my bad ;) and can answer for my question ? ;)

  • @kopercio2602 Sorry, but no, I've done some looking around, but I haven't been able to find anything like it.

  • @carlover961 so where u got i from ? ;) cuz i looks nice, kinda like KITT from knight rider ;)

  • @kopercio2602 I didn't make this video, and none of that stuff's mine, so I don't know, and I can't make out the name on it from the video, sorry, your best bet would be pming the uploader of the video.

  • @carlover961 aww sorry i made a mistake cuz i thought i am talkin to the uploader ;) sorry mate ;]

  • @kopercio2602 not a problem

  • @kopercio2602 Sorry for the slow response. I got it from Maplin, but I haven't seen one anywhere since.

  • @josh221212 aw ok thanks ;)

  • testing sound speakers for ear in our bad speakers? XD

  • @statsnegerbarn i agree with you mate..i bought mine a few days ago after getting great reviews off people but these are weak without a sub bass woofer...What were they thinking..If you like your music with rich deep sounds then these are not right at all.

  • not tweater, it's TWEETER

  • how much do these speakers weight? im planning on getting them, but I will be travelling with them so they gotta be light =P

  • @zakumownzu In the box they weigh about 9 pounds / 4 kg.

  • @josh221212 alright, thanks =)

  • whats the first song

  • Can I connect these Gigaworks to my iPod and TV?

  • @ssa12344 It is possible to connect to your TV. If you want to connect it to your ipod, i think you have to buy their dock "Creative Docking Station X-30"

  • @TheTocksic Okay, thanks :)

  • whats the first song??

  • Why do my t2.0 black out when i crank them really high

  • what is the led light in the middle that lights up the noise level and bass or whatever?

  • So how many watts of power do these speakers produce all together?

  • @patrikk777 16 Watts RMS per channel. 32 Watts RMS Total.

  • I just purchased the t40 series I used, and the bass is not as good as your speakers. It sounds kind of flat, the band doesnt vibrate at all and the sound feels weak. Are the series I just like that or did I get cheated? any ideas or comments? My HK Soundsticks have a very different contrasting sound when I switch speakers and I have a feeling these speakers may be defective let me know. Thanks

  • @redfirebird2739 The speakers do tend to sound very flat. I keep the bass at about 3 o'clock. Also, they sound better at higher volumes.

  • You misspelled the word tweeter.

  • I did indeed. Thanks for pointing that out.

  • I bought a pair the other day, the treble on my left speaker seems non existant. Are both speakers supposed to be giving off the exact same sound or is one meant to be more bassy?

  • i've heard of this problem before. This is a speaker defect where the tweeter is disconnected from the amplifier. Probably best to replace them.

  • iv just bought these with an asus xonar sound card. i think there are the best when playing like house/dance/electronic get some really clear crisp sound.

  • Didn't you already have this video up? Wouldn't this be without external mic?

  • @ThisIs2009 The original video was deleted from YouTube. I don't know how. And yes this was without external mic. Thanks for pointing that out. I must change the description.

  • Thanks for taking the time making these sound tests.
