i liked the same song performed by " althmash Faridi" in saregamasinging superstar. As a matter of fact , in studios, they dont perform this kind of songs in one single shot, especially the notes.... even Mr Rahat Fateh Alikhan himself.... so Sreeram has done a great job but just a matter of openion , Althmash's voice suited this song better than SreeRam

Technically speaking sreeram has much larger range than rahat saab, but rahat's voice does make a difference at some places especially at sargam part. At higher pitches, sreeram is much better than rahat saab.

Dude i don't get on what basis you commented on sriram's singing from 1:21 to 1:36,,

Just compare the sargam words at 1:21 ( 'pa' 'ma' 'ga' 're' 'sa' ) ,,,,in the original version, rahat's voice faltered in this point, not sreeram's . Moreover we can't compare both the things, one is a stage show and the other is a studio recorded one. which is not sung in a single take....both sreeram and rahat are amazing singers...
